Adair Homes - Central Oregon

Working with Lori and the building crew was good. Contractors slowed the process but we were able to move 3 days before Christmas. Completed all phases with 3 days to spare. I would recommend this group to anyone thinking about building a quality home. Ours is a good example.

WARNING ABOUT ADAIR - do NOT use this company: Here is my latest letter to Adair - please do your due diligence before using them! P.S. I had to give this review at least 1 star in order to be able to post it!! Otherwise, it would have been negative 5 stars! I need someone from the Corporate office to contact me. I just received notification from Adair that my house at 62727 Hawkview Rd, Bend OR 97702 is complete. It is NOT complete!!! Just to mention a few items: the stove is not installed; low voltage wires are still hanging out of the wall with no fixtures attached; the outside electrical outlets do not work; per his promise, the superintendent did not ensure that the painter completed the touch up work that was necessary due to Adair's errors that needed to be fixed; the temp power pole has not been removed from the front yard..... I am beyond frustrated with my experience with Adair. I have built 6 homes with Adair, and this is by far THE WORST experience I have had. I signed the contract in April 2016 for this house to be built, and it remains unfinished as of today (17 months later)! In addition, I have been paying over $2000/month in construction loan interest for the past 17 months. This is entirely unacceptable and if these issues are not remedied immediately, I will be contacting an attorney. I have documented pictures of all that has gone wrong with this project, as well as written communication throughout the entire process. I also have sub-contractors that are willing to testify, should this need to go to court. Please contact me immediately to let me know what is going to be done to complete this home. Christy

From the beginning of our search for a new home and the first phone call to Lori we have been so pleased with everything. Lori walked us through the plans, options, and pricing, Lori has put up with all the changes and done it with kind words and patience. She has been on top of everything to get the answers for us ( She needs a raise) I would recommend Lori and Adair homes to anyone. Even though we are just starting the build Carter has been very easy to talk to and answer all our questions looking forward to working with him. will post more as we get closer to completion

Lori Osborn was most help helpful to us planning the building of our dream home. She was able to answer all of our questions or find answers for us. Lori even arranged for us to tour a recently built home of the same design. I have had two Adair homes constructed in the past as well as buying another one from the original owner and I can attest that Adair builds a solid product. With their widely expanded designs and finish options anyone is sure to find a home that will suit them well.

We built a home in Bend, Oregon with Adair in 2014. The process from the very beginning from picking out the plan, the site, the financing, the permits, the building process was from Oct.2013 to July 2014. The home itself took a little over 90 days. I can not tell you how easy and simple Adair makes the process. We have built 3 homes before this, so we can compare. Lori and Carter, are very efficient and their guidance made this simple and much more enjoyable then we expected! Our home is the 1952 Signature Series Adair home. It's not a simple box home...it is very beautiful, comfortable, livable and most of all it is built very well. WE were able to witness every single portion of the process our home endured. We know the suppliers of our materials and watched it come up! After going through a hard economy with the last recession we knew we needed to downsize our mortgage...so we bought a beautiful acre in Deschutes River Woods. Adair built a beautiful brand new home that is energy efficient and we now have an awesome acre with a brand new home. Adair made our dreams very possible to have a nice newer home with affordable land. Building a new home is always an enduring process, but after all of my hard core research on other pre-engineered truss home builders.. I chose Adair. Their customer service and their cost with their upgraded package with the quality of materials and suppliers can not be beat. I would do it again, in a heart beat! I highly recommend you give Adair a closer look when it comes to value and a well built home.
