Adel Family Aquatic Center

Took the grand kids even though it was busy we still had a great time. Just wish it could be for Adel people so it wasn't so crowded. Fun things to play on.

Nice pool but most of the lifeguards do not watch or warn the kids. I had to stop a kid from continually dunking and holding another kid under the water. The second kid was starting to panic and could breath. It was 8 feet from a manned guard stand. If you take your kids here make sure you keep eye on them at all times. The life guards are not going to save anyone.

Nice new facility on the outskirts of town. It was packed on the 81 degree day we went so "swimming" wasn't an option, but if you have some kids who just want to have fun in a pool it was definitely worth the meager $5 a head we spent. They have 2 decent sized water slides, 2 diving boards, a rope cross activity and some things for the little ones also. On two sides of the pool are open country (currently) so as other reviewers wrote it can be a bit windy and cooler on the days under 90 degrees.

Brand New basically. Lots of sprinklers for toddlers & enough for older kids too. Surrounded by newly developed homes and WIDE open space for more which haven't been built yet so it get PRETTY windy & makes it feel way cooler then it is! Make sure it's warmer then 75!!;)

No lazy river but this place is reasonably priced at $5 per person or $15 for a family and it's very clean and the staff are nice.
