Urbandale City Swimming Pool

Great pool with great staff. My son did swim lessons here and I would recommend this place to anyone. They have great prices and experienced instructors. You can sign up for lessons here even if you are not a resident of Urbandale. They also have open swim at certain times for a very reasonable rate. The locker rooms and pool area and front lobby are always very clean and I have never had anything to complain about. A great place!

So much indoor pool space. A deep end with a diving board, also used for lap swimming. During the lap swimming time there was enough pool area to wade in. There is a smaller shallow area, it was perfect for my slower and shorter laps. The pool water is heated, making it very comfortable to be in. The shower area is open, I would have liked a few private showers. It was a hot shower. Bring your own towel.

Great option for the other 9 months the outdoor pools are not open. Big. Diving board. Different depths.
