Jose R is the best! I came in with a dead battery I bought there, but unfortunately it was out of warrantee. Yet, he took it out of my car, recharged it, and put it back in. Problem solved. I came in another time and he recommended the right windshield wiper blades and installed them. He also gave me great advice on how to sell my second car. I offered him a tip and he said he couldn't take it. Please thank him for such great service! In an era where good help is hard to find, your store is so lucky to have him. The service at this location is top notch thanks to Jose R.
I typically love going to any Advance Auto stores, as the employees are always helpful and they carry everything you need. However, this specific store on Clairmont is awful. The staff is very unhelpful, that is if you can find them. Some speak English, some don’t, which makes things extremely difficult to understand. And the store looks like it’s going out of business for months, as the shelves are only partially stocked, haphazardly, with no rhyme or reason behind why it’s put together in that manner. Really disappointing as this is the closest store to me. Will be going out of my way to avoid this location AT ALL COSTS!
larger Latino man at checkout was unhelpful, seemingly on purpose , grabbed the wrong part several times after I repeated what i was looking for multiple times and then coughed in my face several times. no mask or any attempt to cover his cough or turn away and said “man ….I need to call my doctor”. Lol. Hoping He doesn’t have Covid. Not a great experience at this location
Chaotic at the register, not able to manage multiple customers when the phone rang. Worse, we had placed an order in-store and they weren't able to find it a week later when already paid. We need a second trip to get a manager to provide the part or a refund.
Terrible experience, the manager seemed uninterested and wouldn’t even help her clearly flustered employee as he was scrambling to find our order. Stock seemed very unorganized as well, which is probably why they couldn’t find the part we had already paid for.
You have to budget 30+ minutes at this place, regardless of how busy it is. This is the slowest, most disorganized auto parts store I've been to, and honestly I don't know why I ever return when there are about four other auto stores within a two-mile radius. Avoid.

Has been my store for a decade or better. Good people.
An older store, but has helpful staff. Not as easy to find things as some more modern stores but they generally have everything in stock... except when they don't. Access to the parking lot is not so easy from the road if on the opposite side of Clairmont.
