****BEWARE OF THE CROOKED TECHNICIANS PUNCTURING CUSTOMER'S TIRES AND THE EMPLOYEES PRETENDING TO NOT KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON**** I just got an oil change last week at another dealer and brought my vehicle in to World of Toyota to have my vehicle examined for a separate issue. The diagnostic report stated that I have a nail punctured in my rear tire which is obviously something they did because my tires were fine when I went to the dealer last week up until I handed Timothy the keys to my vehicle for service today at World of Toyota. All of my tires are new as I just got them replaced and rotated in October 2023. I never felt any issues with my tires. Something told me to read the reviews today, and I saw that this had RECENTLY HAPPENED TO OTHER CUSTOMERS. There are literally other customers reporting that they tried to diagnose them with the same nail in the tire issue. I would have never guessed that this could have happened being that I just read a review on this prior to me going. I waited all day to only have my time and gas WASTED. There was no service provided because I refuse to have my vehicle worked on by those dishonest people. I spoke with the manager and two other employees about this and they all claimed that this is the first time this has ever happened, and they trust their technicians and they haven't seen them do it. First of all, when people do bad things, they are going to try to hide it. Secondly, they are not always back there with them to witness this, but if they are constantly going back go to check on the vehicles as one of them claimed they do, then I have every reason to believe that they are in on it too. I'm sure some of the techs and the front service employees are looking out for each other by preying and targeting certain customers to try to spook and force them into paying for services they don't need or they deliberately and illegally vandalizing themselves. They are doing this because they know tires is an emergency issue that needs to be replaced immediately. I included the photo of the nail in the tire below from the diagnostic report in which they tried to charge me $160 for. The placement and length of the nail is suspicious. Anyone with a nail in their tire placed closely to the end of a tire would be able to feel that something is off when driving. Also, why isn't the nail deeper in the tire? This looks like someone stuck it in there. How did this nail magically skip the front tire, and get stuck in the back of the tire? Lastly, if you closely examine the blurry picture of the nail they provided to me in the report, you can see that it has no base or round end, so this type of nail would go all the way in the tire, not sticking out the way it is in the photo. I added a photo of the other person this happened to recently. Someone needs to investigate this dealership IMMEDIATELY. The techs, front service employees, and managers. It's not right for them to take advantage of people especially during an economic inflation where everyone is just trying to get by.
Beth at World Toyota was amazing! It was like buying a car from a friend. She took me to exactly what I was in the market for, let me test drive a few, answered my questions and then in no time we had made our decision and she with no pressure at all got the ball moving and we were out in no time. This place has a great selection and a great team!
Appointment time was at 9:45 for and oil change. I arrived at 9:37a. Service advisor documented check in time at 9:50a. He also suggested a tire rotation, which I agreed. Stated give them 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours. Fine. I'm sitting in the outside area. Only 2 patio heaters out there and chilly from the wind. I was dressed in layers, so it was okay. At 10:45, I'm thinking: wonder what's happening as I hadn't received a text or email yet. I go inside to talk with my service advisor, James. He said he hadn't heard anything, would check and let me know. 15 minutes, still no communication so I go back inside. Doesn't seem like my car had been touched so I requested my keys so I could leave. He requested I give them 10 to 20 minutes to do the service. How long does it take to do an oil change and/or rotate tires? When I checked in, I had informed James my light was on because my tires were at 32psi, should be 33. He said he would have them put air in the tire. After, I got my car back-light was still on. I checked the tire pressure, still at 32.. So what did they actually do with my car for 1 hour and 53 minutes. Now thinking I need to find a better place to get my car service.
Really enjoyed my experience with Jarrel Joye and Mike Hayes!! They worked with me through email and phone to answer all my questions and get me the best deal over the last week. I was able to sign most all of the paperwork electronically so when I got to the dealership I was in and out as soon as I handed them the down payment and got the keys. I am very pleased with the Toyota experience thus far and am glad to have an awesome reliable car!! Thanks for making this the easiest car buying experience I have had and I have had no less than 6 car purchases in the last 7 years keep up the good work!!
We came in last Saturday around noon and gentlemen named Joseph helped us out. He was very courteous, quickly acknowledged the wrong windshield wiper was installed, checked us in, and made the quick swap himself. What would have taken 2hrs because of the queue, Joseph did it in 30 minutes and we were on our way. Great customer service and truly appreciated!
