Advance Auto Parts

It's a fine place to get auto parts. An employee was talking about his political views and immigration very loudly to the point where it was uncomfortable. Other times, it seems like they don't take me seriously because I'm a woman, but that's probably all auto parts stores. They just kind of ignore me. As a car and automotive person, I hate this.

Don't go to advance autos. they will try selling you overpriced stuff you don't need. Went to advance Auto to get a battery told me the cheapest battery I could get for my car was $180. went to AutoZone Pete $70 and got it installed for free

On Thursday July 28, 2022, I attended the Rosedale store in Maryland on Kenwood, specifically I'm talking about a storesmen named Pat. I went & asked to get a battery check along with a light check because my check engine light was on. His first approach was "you're going to be waiting a while". He was helping a white guy at the time outside & seemed to be being very helpful to him. I said ok that's fine. He didn't even get a chance to do the battery check because I was disgusted in the way he was talking to me from the start. It was really snappy for no reason, as if he was having a bad morning or something. What bothered me the most is that his approach inside the store with another white guy seemed more happier than his approach with me. Some advanced auto parts provide print outs of the code readings, when asking does the store provide print outs it was just this attitude of "NO, we don't provide print outs just take a picture". I didn't even want him to check the battery after that. The experience made me not want to ever attend that store again. I started calling to coroparte but didn't have time to finish the call so I'm writing this review this morning. His attitude just seemed weird.

Mohammed is amazing , he did everything to help me and save me money . I went to 3 advanced autos before coming here and they didn’t give me half the customer service he did 10 stars !!!

Didn’t have the headlight I needed but the staff was very helpful.

Good store, helpful staff, good selection.

Unfortunately, the car parts places are useful sometimes, but overall too expensive. Their prices are beat by almost everyone

The staff is always very professional and helpful...alot of auto parts workers at other stores think they're mechanics but at this particular location they know their place and I love it.

45 minutes to put in a battery, dropped a tool in my engine and said, "no worries, it will fall out when you start driving". Edit: He did eventually ask someone else in the store to help. They had to remove the new battery and dig around until they found the tool. When he was putting the battery back in i had to remind him to put the battery cover in before reinstalling the battery.

For my battery replaced by Jenn. She’s very sweet and nice and tightened everything properly. Started my car and I was good to go. Thank you to Jenn! It’s appreciated.
