We use time-based billing - charging by the quarter hour, so most uncomplicated visits will cost only $35. An initial physical will take a little longer, but note that the "time" in "time-based" is spent 100% with the family nurse practitioner. There is no waiting in a cold room with a paper gown to keep you warm; you are being assessed from the moment you're greeted in the "living room" until you're bade farewell as you're escorted back.

Affordable Care Health Clinic provides patient-focused, accessible family health care (ages 4 to 106!) for wellness, acute illness and chronic conditions at affordable rates. We do everything a traditional medical practice does, and more. From acute illness and chronic disease management to office procedures, you can find your medical home here.

Charges for services are up-front, easy and inexpensive. There are absolutely no hidden charges, or bills that show up later and leave you wondering what THAT was for. Our certified nurse practitioners care more about your health than if you have insurance. In fact, we don't process insurance at all! By not having to verify and process insurance, we can make our rates lower than many co-pays. If you do have insurance, we will give you a receipt with our provider number on it. You can send it in to your insurer and get your visit applied to your deductible or reimbursed directly to you (depending on insurer and plan). Our practice model is perfect for the patient without insurance OR with high-deductible insurance.

Our lab fees are reasonable, and charges are reduced by 70% for patients without insurance. For example, a complete blood count costs $10, a cholesterol test is just $15 and a comprehensive general health panel that checks blood count, glucose, hemoglobin A1c for diabetes, liver, kidneys and thyroid is $45! The lab fee for a women's Pap test is only $40! These are some of the lowest prices in the Columbus area, unless you go to a free clinic. And if you DO have insurance, there is no lab cost at all, whether or not you have met your deductible.

Our affordable rates make high quality health care available to everyone. There is NO reason to go without a physical; no need to ignore that chronic health condition. We accept checks, credit cards, and good old-fashioned cash. This is one of the things that makes us unique.
