Unlike the Santa Monica beach nearby, the water is a little more deep. Part of the road is gravel and many of the streets identified on google maps just don't exist! Follow Agate beach road or old rink road to get to Stanton Park and the beach. No cell phone service-get offline maps before you head out. If your directions take you to a turn-off beyond Misery Bay road, you are headed to a gravel path that will require 4WD or ATV!
