Al-Madina Indian & Pakistani Market & Grill

This is a great place for Pakistani cuisine lovers. They can find anything and everything Subcontinental and Middle Eastern. Since Al-Madina Restaurant is close to University of Cincinnati, a great number of students pour in due to reasonable prices and quality food. They have recently raised some of the prices, to the disadvantage of the students. But it is still a nice place to grab some delicious food.

Great place to get a quick and cheap lunch or split an inexpensive dinner plate. Highlights of the menu include their sandwiches on tandoori-heated flatbread and their kibbeh, a fried ball of bulgur, minced meat and spices.

Small hole-in-the-wall that serves an incredible, oven roasted chicken ($4) or beef+lamb kabab ($5) wraps in just out of the oven naan. Make sure to get a spoon of garlic yogurt sauce, tahini and the spicy green chutney on top. Owner is an extremely kind gentleman.

They have expanded their menu after the renovation. They sell variety of middle-eastern favorites now and their price range makes it a bargain compared to other Mediterranean restaurants in the neighborhood. The sanitation of this place has also improved drastically since the re-modelling. The affordable rice platter, sides and portion size makes it a go-to lunch destination for me.

Chicken Sharwma is the best they have, and is affordable. They came with new menus now. Also, they have basic groceries to sell. They also sell chicken (raw). Super tasty and flawless.
