Alamo Rent A Car

Twice now I have rented a car with Alamo and have been very impressed. I rented a mini van for a trip to fit my whole family. The price was less than other rental agencies and the car I received exceeded expectations. Twice now, I have been stoked when I pick up my vehicle. I received a hybrid even! It drove super well, was super clean and reliable. We all had a great time. Costumer service was great. Pick up and drop off were smooth and quick. Will definitely be choosing by Alamo again!

We needed a good off-road SUV - and the customer service was excellent. They really cared and worked to get us in a great vehicle.

I highly recommend Alamo at the Sunport airport in Albuquerque, Nm. Returned vehicle early due to not needing it after all. However their was a issue with a tire and I was just letting them know. I was not expecting to a credit or anything as I've never had issues with Alamos cars before. Issues happen and this was one of those rare issues. Alamo gave me a credit and as always was very pleasant to rent with. Their cars are always clean , run good and if you ever have questions or need assistance they are on it! I've used many other rental companies but I prefer this one! ...

I've always had good experiences with Alamo and usually book them through Costco's travel service. When we picked up our car in Albuquerque, there were stains on the seat, which we showed to the agent. They offered another car, but we liked the vehicle otherwise and kept it. When we returned it, Isaac checked us in and we reminded him the damage was there when we rented the car. He was very surprised and offered us a deep discount on the rental, even though we assured him that wasn't necessary. I really appreciated his willingness to go above and beyond.

Our experience was great! I have rented many times at Albuquerque and this was the best! I did the pre check and it saved so much time. I will go with Alamo again. The vehicle was in great condition and clean. Everyone was very friendly. The return was simple as well.

Standard SUV was not available so they upgraded me to a minivan. The additional space was great as there were three of us traveling. The process was easy I was in and out when I picked up the car and in and out when I dropped it off no issues no surprises. Way to go Alamo! This is the second time I have used them through Costco and will definitely use them in the future.

We switched from Hertz at Love Field in Dallas last year as they never had cars ready when at our reservation time. Alamo had been better, but the last two times, now they don’t have cars ready. Appears to be a staffing, lack of workers issue.

Received a electric truck and was told that the have charging stations everywhere and that was NOT true. I traveled over 600 miles from New Mexico to Dallas TX and it was the worst trip. Had to wait hours for charging and was stressing where the next charging station was. It cost more money to charge them to use gas. I called customer service 3 times about returning it fully charged and nobody was helpful. Even when I reserved the vehicle I called to see how much the deposit was and when I picked up it was more then what I was told. Employees was nice at location is the only good experience I had with this rental.

I am not a seasoned traveler. It has been 15 years since I rented a car, and being in SoCal traffic is unnerving for me. I rented a car from Alamo at the San Diego Airport. The agent at the counter Sean was friendly and personable. There was no wait. At the car garage, Vic helped us situate and assisted me with the car’s GPS. All in all, it was a wonderful experience except for SoCal traffic.

I have been using Alamo in San Diego for over 30 years. They are, by far, the easiest and friendliest rental agency I have used throughout the US. Ali, my longtime customer service agent in SD, is the friendliest guy and will treat you honestly.
