Alexander Paul Institute of Hair Design

I switched to Alexander Paul a couple years ago from another local styling school. Their attitude is much more mature and professional. They focus on their clients, not each other. Under 9$ for a men's haircut and shampoo doesn't hurt either. Best to call ahead...they are popular. 8-24-2017 Quannie was superb. Deft hand and listens with care on client requests. Felt very confident with teacher/hairchecks also. 9-27-2017: Courtney S. was something special. Her kind manner and attention to detail., not to mention her superior skill set. Couldn't be more satisfied. 12-9-2017: Always love coming here. Rosa M. has such a high skill set. Firm but gentle too. Such a relaxing shampoo/ head massage that I considered it a Christmas gift to myself. She’s the type of stylist you want to follow into her professional location. 1-19-2018: I will miss Rosa M. She is one of the best I’ve experienced. Happy Graduation. 3-13-2018: What skill and good humor Brooklyn has. One of my best AP haircuts ever. 2nd manicure of my life and Carmen was relaxed, and charming to talk to. Low price is an added bonus.

Only way to know is to go. This place is amazing. The whole staff is amazing. Literally 3 different people asked me if my hair cut went okay and made sure I was pleased with my visit. Little things like customer service go a long way. Thank you #apihair

Alexander Paul is a wonderful school, i had the pleasure of completing my Cosmetology course threw them and I am so glad that I did. The school is local to Greenville, with strong roots in the city, and throughout Eastern NC. The owner George, along with his sons' Alex and Paul, and the other instructor Casey are phenomenal people. They really helped me to understand difficult concepts, and the smaller environment made it feel like a home to me. The course is about 10 months long, and i loved every minute there. I left there with a sense of accomplishment and a sense of pride for my school. I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone!!

I would highly recommend this salon to anyone! I got my first professional color treatment done by Kayla and it looks amazing. I had lots of trepidation about getting my hair colored as I have seen some really bad color jobs and I was hesitant to do something that require a lot of maintenance. Kayla listened to everything I said and nailed the finished product. I love that there are instructors there to perform quality control and lend their input (not that Kayla needed much help - she's seriously a rockstar!). I will definitely be back again.

I have lived in Greenville, NC for 5 years now and Alexander Paul has been a constant go to for me. The students are awesome and usually do awesome work. They do take a little longer being a school, so understand that before going in and don't get upset with your hair stylist. I would definitely recommend for anyone. Btw, I have extremely long (to my butt) hair, that is fairly difficult to work with. Soo, that should let you know they can do great work! Cole and Jasmine are the best!!
