I just had probably the worst customer experience I've ever had speaking with the owner over the phone. I suggested a potential trade after which he overshot the value of an amp he was selling by about $100, then proceeded to tell me that my amp wasn't worth near as much as his when it regularly sells for about $200 more used. He prolonged this disagreement for a while before finally revealing that he didn't care about the actual monetary value of my amp, he just didn't think it was "worth a damn," and that he would know because of his superior knowledge of music and electronics. I even let him know at the beginning of the phone call that I was unsure whether he would be interested at all in what I had to trade, because after browsing what they had in their store it didn't seem to be their style, so it came as a bit of a shock that he didn't just confirm my suspicions that it's not an amp he would want in his store. It seems like he was either using my phone call as an opportunity to flex his superior knowledge on music equipment (which I agree he has) or just trying to haggle me down to a lower price, either of which could have been done without taking on such an abrasive tone. Overall a really unpleasant experience.

This store is a hidden gem in Iowa City. They have a really unique selection of instruments in addition to passionate staff. I went to a concert they put on in their parking lot in the fall and had a blast! Great variety of local musicians who love the place. This is a must see for any music lovers in the area.

Excellent service and teaching. These guys are experienced musicians and know how to tune any instrument.

The face of my guitar had been damaged by an unfortunate event, creating an extra very much unwanted hole. Matt at All Music, All Art, calmly and assuredly said it would be no problem to fix it. I had no idea what to expect, but trusted his word. I just picked up my guitar today---writing this review because first and foremost, the impressive craftsmanship in the repair! Amazing work. Also, the cost and turn around time exceeded my expectations. Thank you All Music All Art!!!
