Allstate Insurance Agent: Northern Rockies Insurance Agency

I canceled the insurance coverage on my truck because it was no longer being used and this insurance office still tried to charge me for a month of coverage. They claimed it was their right to charge me for nothing because I cancelled my coverage within thirty days of renewal. They made no effort to offer a credit on my account nor did they make any attempt to rectify the situation. The receptionist was rude and dismissive. Terrible customer service. I've been an Allstate customer for years. I've never missed a payment. I haven't filed a claim. I'm completely baffled by this insurance office's desire to charge me for absolutely nothing and furthermore, that they feel justified in doing so. Legal or not, it is considered fraud to charge someone for services not rendered. I wasn't even informed I would be charged even though I'd cancelled. I will complain to Allstate directly and contact the state of Montana. I really hate to cancel my Allstate coverage but it looks like I have few other options. It seems to me, Pete Russell and co. are rather sleazy. I'd steer clear if I were you

They always treat me with respect, answer any questions I may have, and they saved me tons of money when I switched from my last insurance company. Shawn and his team are the best.
