In town visiting from Chicago, and was talked into going by my parents. Great call. First thing that I picked up on is that it's a new place and as with anything there's room for improvement. There are little things that folks could point out, like no labels for the food or a lack of a menu, but what completely makes up for that is a friendly face with a smile more than willing to answer any question you may have. After reading a few reviews, I went in with a taste for meatloaf, but that wasn't on the menu for today, so I opted for the Fried Chicken, which did not disappoint. You didn't get that fast food flavored chicken. You got home cooked chicken, and I will take that any day over 11 herbs and spices. They don't have menus you order off of. it's kinda like a buffet, where you walk up and pick out your main dish and then sides. I do believe the menu changes daily. When I sat down to eat, it looked as if I didn't have a lot of food, but my eyes were tricked. The portions are served up very well, and you will walk out full. The staff was very friendly during my visit. The place is big and has large windows that let a lot of natural light, which is awesome to me, and it was a clean establishment. I ended up picking up a to go box to eat later in the evening...at least that was the plan at the time. I'm still full. This is a place that I will be stopping by anytime I'm in town visiting. If you want a home cooked meal, I highly recommend you stop in and try this place.

This place is amazing! I got Fried Chicken, Sweet Potato, Squash, and Bread. Everything on my plate tasted excellent. The Fried Chicken is absolutely fresh no doubt. The Sweat Potato is not too sweet nor dry, it is beyond expectation. Squash is very good too including the roll.
Once you enter this place, just follow along the wall they have on the right side to go straight to the lady behind the counter. Pick a tray and a fork and just lay it on the counter top. Usually your supposed to pick 1 meat and have 2 sides but you can have more sides or meats if you want. After you pick up your plate, you get a cup and get whatever you want from the soda fountain. They have sweet tea and Orange Juice. It costed me and my dad $20 total which is an excellent price because i ate another truck stop in Louisiana and it was terrible fake cajun food that costed me $27. Im letting you people know that bad quality food is most of the time expensive. Good food is usually cheap and neat like here.
Dont eat at the Huddle House, Dont eat at the New China Buffet... This place takes the spot on the best restaurant of Senatobia that i have tried.
For you Truck Drivers, i would reccomend this restaurant for you and also i reccomend for anyone who wants to eat REAL DELICIOUS FOOD to here.
I give this place a 11/10 because it was more than i anticipated and beyond my expections from reading some reviews and looking at the pics.
Whenever i come back to Senatobia in the Pilot Travel Center. I will come back to this place with a huge smile on my face. 😊

Pretty good food. Nice and attentive staff. I wasn’t impressed by their variety but it was a decent meal for the price.

It was ok. Everyone was nice and the place is large. We got the fried chicken. The chicken was just ok. The instant mashed potatoes were cold and the squash casserole was mush with alot of pepper. We couldn't find any menu and when you get there the food isn't labeled so you have to ask what everything is. It was $11 for a meat and 2 veg with tea. For $6.50 you can go next door to Kayes grocery and get a better plate lunch.
