Almondy Inn

I had such an amazing experience during my stay at the Almondy Inn, it was unlike any other I’ve had before! John and Laurence were so sweet, accommodating and helpful. They had the best recommendations and constantly checked in to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable. The Captain’s Quarters room was so lovely, just well decorated, so comfy, had a beautiful view and was SO clean! Just this would’ve been enough to make any guest feel welcome but the food was out of this world!! Every morning the breakfast spread was different and tasted so delicious; the wine and cheese hour was also great and had different wine/cheese pairings every day. I will definitely be recommending the Almondy Inn to anyone and everyone. 10/10, could not have been better. :

This is a wonderful place in a perfect location about a block from America’s Cup Avenue. Our room was as described; very comfortable and clean. We started with a nice wine and cheese reception in the evening and had an excellent french inspired homemade breakfast in the morning. The best part of the stay was the innkeepers, John & Laurence. Great people who went out of their way to make our stay special. Highly recommended! We will visit again!

What a fantastic place!! We can’t say enough about the Almondy Inn! The Innkeepers were wonderful and very accommodating during our stay. The breakfast meals were fabulous and we also enjoyed the daily wine and cheese happy hours. We will definitely be back and looking forward to our next return! This is truly the best Inn and location that you will find in the Newport area!!!

We had a wonderful girls' trip to Newport in June and the Almondy Inn completed it so perfectly. Laurence and John were incredibly gracious hosts and went out of their way every day to make sure we were perfectly comfortable. They even gave me a special birthday treat! The home is beautiful, the wine and cheese hour is "required," as they say, and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend staying here!

Our stay at The Almondy Inn was amazing! The Inn was beautiful and the rooms were immaculate. There were fresh baked cookies everyday, wine and cheese happy hour with the other guests every evening and a delicious homemade breakfast every morning! John and Laurence were wonderful hosts, they were extremely welcoming and friendly and were more than willing to help give directions or advice on what to see in Newport, RI. Would 100% recommend staying at The Almondy Inn and we will definitely be returning again!

The Almondy Inn was an absolute PLEASURE. From the top notch service by the hosts, Laurence and John, to the breakfast provided - you won’t regret booking a room here! When you get there, you’ll be welcomed with fresh baked cookies and incredible hospitality. We stayed in the Captain’s Quarters for a few nights and it truly had everything you’d need. It was quiet, clean, and very comfortable. It’s also walking distance from so many bars and shops so it’s in a really convenient location. The inn does wine and cheese every day at 5pm so make sure to be around for that : This place beats any hotel/Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, cozy and charming! B&B. 10/10

Girls weekend was absolutely perfect! The Almondy Inn is in the perfect location - the heart of New Port. Bars and restaurants everywhere - Live music! The whole experience was great - the accommodations were clean & well kept & the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Wine & cheese everyday! The weekend was flawless!Rooms: 5/5

What a perfect place to lay your head while in Newport! The rooms are lovely, clean and charming and the bed was so comfortable. The scrumptious breakfast freshly made by Laurence is not to be missed! The 5 o'clock wine, cheese and conversation is the perfect respite to a day exploring the town. Added note - when we were two minutes away from our initial arrival, John called to see if we preferred red or white! That's how attentive and accommodating these two quintessential innkeepers are!! He said it was a coincidence but, after spending the weekend, we have our doubts. All of this and a very convenient location. We'll be back soon.......two grateful guests

This was my first time in Newport, RI and to be honest the Almondy Inn was my favorite part of the entire stay. Beautiful establishment, delicious food and the best hosts. The restaurants and bars we ended up going were so close which is so needed with heals lol. Overall, I am excited to plan another trip back just to be able to stay at the inn. Loved it

WOW!!!!! If I could give 10 stars I would. This Inn was an absolute dream. John and Laurence were the most welcoming hosts I have ever experienced. From the moment we walked in we felt like family. There was fresh baked cookies upon our arrival, and the wine and cheese in the afternoon was so delicious!! My favorite part was the morning breakfast that Laurence prepared for us. It was DELICIOUS!!! It was the perfect place for our girls weekend, if you are planning on spending time in Newport.... look no further!!! Thank you again for the incredible stay!!!
