This doctor's office sends bloodwork to non-network providers like Progenity and they sent me a bill for $35000 for simple bloodwork, when I asked why they charged so much they said "because we can". I think it is Dr's office mistake to send bloodwork to non-network providers. Thankfully my insurance company took issue with them and fixed it. Progenity still wants me to pay $25, how pathetic. About the doctor: We got two scans and one pap-smear test. During the first ultrasound and pap-smear test, Dr was called into some emergency. She left everything half way and disappeared for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes she did not return to us. A physician attendant came over and asked us to go see her at another location. We asked the PA about pap-smear test stuff she left as is, the PA said should would take care of them. So basically we don't know what they did with it. My sister went with my wife for the second scan and my sister was not impressed with the service, again she appeared to be standing in hot water. I don't know if she is a good dr or not but when we visit a doctor we would like to spend at least 10 minutes quality time with the dr which did not happen in our case. During the first time she kept forgetting to give some prescriptions. We paid some $220 with a silver plan, not sure why we paid them. Bottom line is our visit was not satisfactory. The hospital was tidy and well kept and the receptionist were nice to deal with. Attentiveness with patients is much requested from this Dr.
