Amber Door Day Spa

This is the most relaxing place ever. I went for a full body massage, but ended up getting a foot spa too. It isn’t cheap though, but it was totally worth it. I’m now saving up for my next visit.

5 days into my gel Mani and 7 of my fingers have unfortunately already either peeled, separated, or chipped. There is significant separation at almost all the base of my nails, so I know it's from a poor job of clean up the cuticles. The paint job was also less than mediocre - the edges are a bit sloppy. While admittedly I do have a perfectionist preference when it comes to my nails, the job done here was FAR from being good. I've done a better job on myself. Pretty disappointed considering this salon is one of the more expensive places to get your nails done. I have had MUCH better manicures at considerably cheaper price points. A gel Mani and a regular pedi here will run you north of $85; I'm convinced you are shelling out for the Instagram friendly interior decor. While my in-salon experience was alright, given the level of standard of work here, I highly doubt I'll be back. There is just so many other places I have been that's​ better for cheaper.

This new spa will exceed your expectations in each and every aspect. Let me start with giving them 5 star rating for cleanness. It is the first business in our county that meets all hygienic standards without doubt. Then their superior customer service. My nails were manicured to absolute perfection. I felt that I got maximum return on my investment for the price I paid.

Karen is my favorite! She's friendly and kind. She takes her time when she does mani and pedi. I walk a lot so my feet get pretty bad but after they are left so soft! On a side note, I've been with all the nail techs here and painting nails is not Amber Door Day Spa speciality, they always use too much polish, leave a thick coat so it peels or chips quickly.
