America Eats Tavern

This was a good restaurant, the service was prompt and my brisket burger was excellent. This is an American style restaurant for sure, burgers, BBQ steak, fries and salads. This is a place to go if you need a quick break from shipping while in Georgetown.

A cozy spot with great service in comfortable surroundings. Servings are big and the food is tasty. They are also able to accommodate special dietary requirements. There is something for everyone.

I guess my standards were a bit high considering this is a tip chef's restaurant...okra was great, but the brisket sandwich lacked any flavor..plus the bathroom with a sliding door into the table area was a bit odd

Very friendly welcome and cool atmosphere. Authentic American eatery and food, yet I'd say much better quality than usual American food - less fatty and more taste. Great service and good recommendations. Prices reflect the quality of food you get.

Tasty appetizers, interesting spins on some classic cocktails, and relaxing decor. The place was spacious and the staff were attentive. I enjoyed Andres' take on classic American fare. Worthy spot in Georgetown.

So delicious! Great service too. We had the Mac and cheese appetizer and I had the shrimp and grits.
