American Classic Self Storage

I have won storage unit at auction. It was located at 909 Newtown road American classic storage. The property is very very neat well kept with wrought iron fences plenty of exterior lighting and cameras. The facility is paved in such a way as to divert water away from the storage units. This will protect your belongings. This facility, like his sister facility on Providence road security property at 9:00 p.m. . For people is hard-headed as I am do not try them because you will get locked behind the gate at your own inconvenience. If this should happen when you call the phone number be sure you leave a voicemail with your name and phone number and where you're at. There is somebody monitoring phones. The facility manager, Brad Johnson, was very helpful in facilitating my purchase. The informed me just as the other facility did that you cannot get out of the gate after 9:00 p.m. . He was very helpful and walked me to my unit. A side note for any future renters: please do not store any food, EVER, no matter how well secure you think you have it. It will draw critters and they will eat and chew everything including metal cans. Do yourself a favor protect your stuff by not storing food. If you have to put it in storage dispose of it. There are fire extinguishers readily available throughout the facility.

I would recommend you never use this facility. I paid my brothers storage fees when he got into a bind. He sold my mothers home then had the money to pay the fees but Brad would not reimburse me the money I paid. so much for a good deed on my part I have contacted the better business bureau to get my money refunded and them investigated. I have also talked to my credit card and they are reversing the charge due to Brad being paid, this is fraud.

We stored our RV at this location for one month and during that time our bike was stolen off of the back of our RV. Prior to storing with American Classic Storage the RV sat for a month in the parking lot of two less than stellar hotels and it was left alone.. I don't feel the security is something they should mention as a feature. We also told the company about the theft almost a week ago and no one has gotten back to us. $140+ for a gravel spot with not even enough room to open the RV doors or storage without pulling out completely. Look elsewhere.

I have used this facility several times over the past decade and have always been satisfied. The quality and care of the facility and excellent customer service has not waiverd in all these years. I highly recommend this place.

Horrible !!!! Honestly it's not very professional to speak on what happened with my account with you guys it says a lot when a company would put somebody's business out there like that when I didn't say why I thought you guys were horrible in the first place. You might want to have a little bit more respect for others in the future and not speak about their situation.

Have a storage area here and although I am cleaning it out, they were professional and the entire area to include the space I rented were extremely clean and well maintained.

I had a great experience renting my unit. The property manager Brad was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He gave me all the information I needed to make the transition from Northern Virginia to here easy and painless. I appreciate his Professionalism and all his help… Thank you so much!

Brad was excellent. He was always businesslike, pleasant and knowledgeable during the three times I met with him prior to renting the 10 x25 unit. There was never any pressure from him to close the deal while I considered my options.
