No other way to get the message out but Post 99 relocacted awhile back to somewhere on Silver. Google is way behind the times. The one star is for Google.
We're from Post 69 visited Post 99 as they were having a fundraiser; it has been very hard for Veterans organizations we have bills to pay but can't open because of COVID-19 restrictions. Car wash, food were great.
Not really prepared for a large wedding reception with lots of people drinking. They kept having to go get stuff and service was super slow. You might also consider some plastic champagne flutes or wine glasses for more formal events. Also, it was hot!!!!
My cousin came in from Silver City to visit me.1 She is a life-long member oft the Silver City AL and as I only live a few blocks from the Post 99, , I felt she would be safe and comfortable there to wait until I got .home. She arrived at 1:45 --Sunday 9/1. There was a fundraiser and she was able to order and eat lunch. Unfortunately, her experience was not welcoming or comfortable. The bartender rudely waited on all the customers , then return to her seat at the end of the bar to eat and visit with her friends. . She complained about the customers using profane names to describe them.. I always thought the American Legion was supposed to be a safe haven for travelling veterans and their families . Had I known she would be subjected to this kind of treatment, I would have made different arrangements. In any event, if the bartender is having a bad day, she should not be working. This bartender is in need of an attitude adjustment or given the opportunity to work elsewhere.
Easy relaxed environment, staff and members are helpful and friendly. Members always helpful with Veterans and their families.
Love this place. Friendly people, low prices, and smoking is allowed, and no one complains, not even non smokers. If you're "politically correct" you may not be happy there.
This is my Dad's local "watering hole". It was chill though and the members were welcoming. Yummy appetizers too!
Post 99 Nice bar area, clean & spacious. They have Mariachi Albuquerque playing every 3rd Friday of the month.
Poll league nigh Wednesday c division team chalk is cheap in 1st place.. super nice staff and bartenders.
