I had the pleasure of being taught by a lovely young woman named Morgan. She had me on Dakota who was very easy to ride and learn on (being my first time). Morgan was very patient and informative. I had about 40 minutes of riding time, and all in was about an hour. I gave Morgan a tip for her time as I guess she isn't being paid, but simply wants to be around horses. The staff in general seemed quite kind, however there was a noisy dirt-bike ride that did disrupt the lesson at some points

As a volunteer, my first day was amazing. This place is professionally ran with expertise from Lynne and Amanda. The horses are very well taken care of and the training I can guaranty is from an experienced equestrian. It was a real joy to be welcomed and have them share not just their horses but their personal experiences which would cost so much more at other places Ive looked into. If someone ever had a bad experience here, it must have been a once in a million bad day.

I was expecting fun. Not fun. They don't teach you how to groom and tack the horse, and the horses are not healthy. Riders don't learn new things, and I recommend to not go here! My experience wasn't too good.

I went to this place with high expectations. One of my favorite things to do as an equestrian is care for the horses (brush them, tack them, etc.) they did not let me brush the horse, tack the horse, or even let me pet the horse. Once I got on the were very demanding and very rude. As a beginner rider they expect you to know how to do everything under the sun. The horse was very pretty. But also was demanding. I was told to do this and that. And I was doing that and I was treated like I was an annoyance and a failular. Not once in my 2 years of riding have I had to apologize to a trainer for not pulling a horse to the right. Not to mention, (this may not be a big deal for some) but for me, riding with a bit is 100% wrong. I understand that some horses need to be ridden in a bit. But when a horse starts to pull away against it, it’s causes a lot of tension for the rider. I ended up feeling VERY unsafe on these horses. Take caution when choosing to ride here..

If you like to be treated like you're an annoyance... I recommend this place.
If you like to pay $100.00 for a 15min ride (not a lesson like it was suppose to be)... I recommend this place.
If you like to explain to your child that they're not going to their lesson again, because of yet another last minute cancellation. Which ends up with your child heart broken. (This happened more then once).. I recommend this place.
If you like to be ripped off and not be refunded for their problems. (This was not disclosed to me, when I purchased lessons over the phone. But was mentioned when I asked for a refund and was told that it was posted up at the stables. I DID NOT SEE ANYTHING POSTED.) i recommended this place.
If I could give it a zero star rating I would. Lynne is rude over the phone/text. And even though she was suppose to be my child's instructor, she canceled and had an Amanda who acted annoyed for having to deal with a young child for the whole 15 min "ride".
This place is seriously a joke. Save your time and find someone that has a heart of passion for horses and children.
