Amigo's Original Tex-Mex

One of the best Tex-Mex and best Mexican food in the Orlando area. Lots of menu options, good service, and reasonable prices. One of the only downside is that they are a Pepsi products place. You get free chips, as much as you want. The tamale dinner is very good with the chili meat sauce. My wife likes the cheese enchiladas.

I would give it 10 stars if I could! This is our family favorite since we moved to the area 27 years ago! Now that our family has grown and most have moved away, this is the first choice for eating out when they return to visit. The customer service is excellent as is the cuisine! They even cater events and we had them cater the rehearsal dinner when on son married. They brought everything to the church and set it up during the rehearsal; ready to eat! It was fabulous and everyone found it delicious! We were impressed with the amount of food and the cost for the catered meal for 30 people! Highly recommend Amigos in Altamonte Springs!

I've been going to Amigo's for over 20 years. It's to bad they don't have as many locations as they had in the past. I always stop by the location in Altamonte when I'm in the area. Excellent lunch specials. All you can eat free chips and salsa. Salsa always tastes so fresh. You'd be foolish not to add the yellow queso dip with it and the frozen sangria swirl. By the time I'm done with that, I can never finish the entree and have a nice chimichanga leftover for lunch or dinner later. Staff is always super friendly, and the manager always stops at the table to check how your experience was and has a nice conversation with you. That's why this location I'm sure will always be there.

Second time I had been to the restaurant. My kids and I had gone for dinner. Overall, the food was good. I had the chicken chimichanga the chicken was a little dry. My daughter had the fajita combo and said the steak was a little tuff. My son had the combination player and said it was really good. The waiter was attentive and made sure we were enjoying our food and refilled our drinks when he saw them low.

I Enjoyed Amigo's Very Much. The Food Was Just What I Was Hoping For. My Fajitas came out Sizzling so Loud. I couldn't wait to get to Taste Them. My Waitress was Very Nice and Always Helpful. The Manager Stopped By Just For a Special Visit To Say Hello after Dinner.... Very Nice Sit Down Mexican Restaurant..... I Will Be Back....
