Tex Mex Express

We stopped into this establishment while we were in Oldtown. The four of us were seated immediately and were treated like family. It definitely felt as if every single employee in this restaurant cared genuinely about your experience. The food was authentic and amazing and everyone was very attentive and kind. The portion sizes were great , and the food was fresh and homemade. The overall experience was great, and a wonderful surprise.

I'm not sure why most of these reviews are so bad. Jose was the guy who served us and was insanely accomadating, let us order happy hour before it was even happy hour. The food came out in 15 minutes top and was delicious. And the margaritas were equally as delicious!

Food was good. Service was horrible. Very unorganized. I had to get up and get my drinks after half an hour of just waiting for them to bring it. Others was served before us. It was also hot. Never will eat here again.

Slow service, the server wasn’t aware of unavailable items when order was placed, so came over 20 minutes after ordering to say they were out of hot dogs for the kids - the restaurant was empty so no excuse there. When my meal arrived it should have been a steak taco salad which was described as having sour cream, jalapeños and olives amongst other items - what was received was a soggy taco bowl of iceberg lettuce with a few diced tomatoes, a bit of cheese and chicken! I broke open the taco bowl to investigate if the flavoursome items were layered but not seen anywhere, made a comment that there were missing items and the manager said that they no longer have certain items that are listed on the menu! I was then accused of eating ‘most of it’ when 95% was still in front of me! Given a 10% reduction on the bill, left hungry and peeved about the managers attitude. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant! Thing is they could have sold us so much more as we had empty drinks throughout when the food arrived.
