The Whole Enchilada Fresh Mexican Grill & Bar

The food was very good; I got the fish taco, which was delicious! It's in downtown Winter Garden, so it's in a great location. They have a rooftop deck for extra seating. I didn't like the concept of the experience. You first wait in an extremely long line before ordering. After you order, you find your seat and they'll bring your food to you. Many people may like this style of restaurant, but it doesn't make sense to me considering how crowded it was. You could be waiting in line for 30 minutes and order and pay only to find out there's nowhere to sit. Fortunately, this didn't happen to us. Good place, but know what you're getting into.

I’m excited this restaurant is open and seems to be doing really well. The restaurant itself is nicely done and I love the rooftop section where you can look out over downtown Winter Garden. Every single staff member I’ve encountered has been helpful and friendly. Even though I’m originally from Florida, I lived in Texas for over 20 years and I’m picky about my Mexican food. Enchiladas are my go to order for comparison. I can’t ever find anything similar to what they serve in Texas but I really like them at The Whole Enchilada! I think the food is fairly priced with pretty big portions. I’ve pretty much given up eating at chain restaurants since there are so many local places in downtown WG. This is a great addition so give it a try!

I had a burrito with queso, my daughter had the nachos and my friend also had a burrito with enchilada sauce on top. The line did take a while to get through but the food and atmosphere made up for it. My daughter was able to play games with other kids while we ate and talked. The games were a great distraction for the kids, which enabled the adults to still have "Adult time". Some adults even started playing games. 5 Stars From Me!

First time here and the service and food ordering system is beyond the worst I’ve experienced in a long time. We got all settled upstairs and then found out that we need to go downstairs to order food, which took over an hour. This is NOT service. Why are there 5 “servers” upstairs and they don’t take food orders????? The ambiance is great, but definitely need to work on their flow. It’s horrible. If they don’t fix this we will never come back. You will get better service at Chipotle. We haven’t even tried the food yet, but better blow our minds considering this initial experience. Edit- it took so long to get our food that we had to take to-go. We came with our neighborhood group, if this doesn’t get rectified you lost a lot of future business. There is no reason customers have to keep going downstairs to get orders taken. What steps are you going to take to get this fixed?

Horrible experience for my birthday dinner. Confusing, at entrance service non existent, food really bad. Drinks overpriced.
