Bait and switch? In the morning I made an appointment to see a vehicle that evening. Dealer immediately sent me a follow-up confirmation saying “When you schedule an appointment a few things happen... We ensure the vehicle is here and available to the best of our ability”. After work I rushed to the bank to get a cashiers check bank charges me a fee for the dealer, and then drove 90 minutes to get to the appointment. Got there and the salesperson said they had sold it earlier that day. They didn’t bother to let me know, didn’t apologize, and simply tried to sell me a much more expensive vehicle. I’m fine that someone else bought it 1st, even though the dealer had promised to hold on to it for our appointment. It just would have been nice if they had bothered to tell me. A salesperson there said that this is their practice because they still want you to get in the door, of course and they were desperate for my trade-in. But I wasted 3 hours on the road, about 5 gallons of gas, a bank fee for the check, and now have to drive over an hour today to return the cashiers check to the bank 2 more gallons… almost 50 bucks in gas and bank fees, not even accounting for wasting my time. It’s hard to imagine doing business with this dealer if this is how they treat customers and keep their promises.
I just purchased my first car and the Andy Mohr Avon Nissan team made it so easy! From greeting me when I first walked up all the way to showing me the bells and whistles of the car prior to driving away, the team exceeded my expectations with kindness. I told the car sales representative what I was looking for and he delivered. We explored a few options from new to used and with each car the sales representative was very well educated. They were patient, honest, and listened to my needs and wants. Thank you Andy Mohr Avon Nissan for making it so easy.
This my second vehicle I have bought from Andy Mohr Nissan-Avon & I must say, the staff has been nothing but THE BEST, each time. Courtesy, Professional, Understanding, just all around made me feel good about coming back for my second vehicle & made me glad that I did. The only reason I didn't give "5 Stars", is that, BOTH times that I got my vehicles from there, as I was driving away, there was a MINOR issue with EACH vehicle that I was told was resolved,, but obviously wasn't......BUT.....BUT... As SOON as I turned around and took it back to Service, it WAS completed, ON THE SPOT & I had no further issues... So MAYBE there was a lack in communication... So maybe, there could just be a better check up of vehicles before leaving the lots
We purchased a new Rogue a few days ago and had Matt as our salesperson. He was terrific. Very patient with us despite asking to see multiple cars. All interactions were good and two thumbs up for Matt.
Very nice! Let us cruise through the lot looking at cars with my teenage daughter. When we were ready we went to the front of the building parked and someone was there to meet us an answered our questions. Didn't pressure my daughter into buying anything. Very fast process! Top 3 of my all time fastest!
Experience leading up to buying the car and through buying the car was acceptable. However, after purchasing my vehicle I was reaching my hand towards the very back of the trunk and sliced my finger open. It happened to be very thick glass , and I noticed it resembled rear window glass. I analyzed everything and reasoned out the back window had been busted out at some point and had not been disclosed to me. Also would’ve never been a problem if they detailed the car well at all worst detail I’ve seen. Additionally, my daughter goes to sit in the rear middle seat the buckle does not work. So, I had just received an email asking about my experience and everything I emailed them back told them these issues. Waited for about 5 days no response. I had the salespersons phone number so then I decided to text him. He responded said he would look into everything and get back…. That was six days ago.
Came here to purchase a 2010 Chevy Malibu LT a few days ago. Ended up purchasing the car because the mileage was fitting to my situation. Little did we know the whole entire front part of the car had been bent from a wreck prior to us purchasing it which we were never informed about only thing Vincent told us was that the blinker lights needed replaced. During the detailing process Vincent took a lot longer than expected to bring the car back. Even the lady that helped us with the paperwork said something and was surprised he wasn’t back yet. My theory is that he took it to the car wash across the street from the dealership and possibly hit something by accident. The drive home was fine as i didn’t have to take any turns just used the interstate. Tried to drive for the first time today after getting it insured and as soon as i made a sharp turn into a parking spot the left front wheel was rubbing against the back of the bumper and was making a clunking noise. Sure enough the car isn’t safe for me to drive and now I’m out $9,000. Need this issue resolved asap!
It was a long process but well worth the wait. My salesman was very accommodating and the other Andy Mohr dealerships I browsed while waiting were pleasant. Trade in was fair and negotiating was easy
Sales manager plays the sleazy car sales guy stereotype well. Asked for transparency and got the run around. Liked the car but left due to poor experience. Sales guy we were working with was trying but could tell he was just following the guidance given to him. Only reason why I gave a second star.
1. The automated voice phone system does not connect to the service department 100% of the time. I call over 15 times in 5 days and I was unable to connect to a human OR leave a message. I had to drive over to the dealership to schedule an appointment. 2. The "Inspection" of work to be done included $2,000 of other work that should be done. Including replacing all 4 tires, the front and rear brakes an oil change and a cabin air filter. I change the oil every 3,000 miles at a different business - Does this dealership feel that I need to change it more often?! Oh and the cabin air filter NEEDED to be changed because the dealership had no record of it being changed. Of course they had no record of it because I've never been to the dealership. So basically every first time person at the service department gets hit with a bill for a cabin air filter. That's not an inspection. I suspect that the tires and brakes also were not "Inspected". The tech listed the total mileage in system and tires and breaks were autofilled into the Inspection report. Just shameful. 3. I had warranty work done. Most of the work was covered but a deductible. I go to pick up my car and the person at the register asked for a payment of $100. I look at the invoice there is nothing listed that I owe a deductible. I told the cashier that I don't see it on the invoice. "Oh, the service rep didn't tell you that you need to pay for a deductible?" No. I was just told that my car is ready and now your asking for payment for something is not on the invoice. So I was not told upfront AND the invoicing system is not capable of listing all the costs. The service rep comes over and explains that the fee is listed in my extended warranty... ok but it's on the invoice and I didn't find out until now. "I can write it on the invoice for you." Again, your service billing system does not provide an accurate accounting for the customer. It makes me wonder what other fees are not listed with buying a new car from this dealership but I'm sure if your caught at charging a hidden fee you can write it down for me. Not acceptable. I can get full receipts with all the charges and discounts listed from Denny's, Lowes, the Hilton but not from the Avon Nissan Dealership. By the way... I can call all those businesses and get a human on the phone as well.
