Nice period Victorian B&B. Great breakfast. Tea in the afternoon w sweets. Wine and cheese in the evening. Quiet. Could not hear our neighbors. Good for couples. Not a family place - I'm retired and fine with that. It missed the 5th star because the steps are steep.

Everything about the Angel of the Sea was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and pleasant and went out of their way to make our time the best it could be. The bed and breakfast is charming and just steps away from the beach. We loved sitting by the fire playing checkers and Scrabble while sipping fresh coffee and eating the daily snack specials. I highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! You will not be disappointed. The owner and staff truly care for their guests. We are currently snowed in due to a Nor'easter that extended our stay unexpectedly. The staff has gone out of their way to help us be comfortable! Oh and the breakfast, tea time and wine/cheese in the evening is out of this world. Take care to ask for room with a stand up shower if you have trouble with your knees or are unsteady as all the tubs while lovely are claw-foot tub/shower combos and raised pretty high. If you need a get away this is truly a wonderful place for it.

Spending the night at The Angel of The Sea hotel was a once in a lifetime experience, if you like old fashion 19th century themed hotels, this would be the best place to stay from the east coast. The staff and the owner are very generous and the best thing is they have a homemade style restaurant, the old fashion dining is remarkable.

More beautiful than any of my pictures. The costumer service was incredible. Their intention is to meet expectation of all their guests. Everyone who enters arrives looking for a special time of rest and relaxation . But everyone leaves feeling like the walked back in time and longs to return. One of the managers mentioned his goal is to become family of those who visit. My father in law who is 80 said as we were leaving "we need to come back next year ". What a gift to hear him say that. I truly have never seen him smile as much as he did those 5 days. My husband Sal and my mother in law are so greatful for the memories of this vacation. And I can't possibly express what that really means to me. Will never consider staying anywhere else. You are truly wonderful . Thanks for the pricless memories . Plus the breakfast. Tea time and wine and cheese hours kept our palate happy and belly as well. Most days we only needed to buy one meal out (lunch around 2pm). Anyone staying at your Bed and Breakfast truly doesn't need anything more.
On a personal note. I was very impressed by how real and nice everyone on the staff was.
Always serving with a smile. Nice to know people still do that.
