Jonathan Pitney House

Always wanted to Stay at a B&B and when we Found The Jonathan Pitney House, it did not Disappoint!! We can down for my BDay wkend 4/20/18 and stayed in #9 room It was so cozy With a up/downstairs like a tiny home...Just Adorable! The owner Tracey was so nice and friendly and Janeen was Great also. Breakfast was good and The Staff made us feel like Family!! Will definitely be coming back☺☺

The houses and rooms are gorgeous!! Everything is meticulously kept and orderly. There are antiques and paintings throughout. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5, is because the breakfast portions are very small, and no variety of dishes. On a positive note, they do offer a fresh fruit cup with your meal. Hopefully, you'll like what they prepare.

We stayed 2 nights celebrating our 1 year anniversary. Everything was perfect. The room #12 was so comfortable, completely outfitted with everything we would need from a small microwave to a 2 person soaking tub. What made this room stellar was the front covered porch with 2 teak rocking chairs. Even though it rained (HARD) all day Saturday and Saturday night we were able to sit out snuggled under a blanket and just talk and drink our champagne. The gas fireplace was wonderful. Kept our room so toasty and provided such romance for us. Breakfast was nice. Comfort food, french toast casserole one morning and ham and cheese omelets the next. The owner Tracy and her daughter were on site in the morning and we got to talking about the history of the house and her family. It was wonderful to feel so welcomed and learn of her family's commitment to the town. She was so nice and warm. Tracy's staff was amazing, whatever they could do for us they offered. Every day there were fresh cookies that were to die for and ice cold water usually with some kind of fruit and home grown herbs. The ground of the home are immaculate. Thank you JPH for such a relaxing weekend. We will be telling all our friends and will be back for sure.

This place is amazing from the moment you pull onto their property. Everything is finely appointed. The pride of ownership is definitely evident! The rooms are clean & comfortable. Ours had a spacious front porch with 2 rocking chairs & the best view on the property! Guaranteed you will be met by the friendliest people (owners) who will make you feel right at home! And lastly, the breakfasts are delightful! This is not your "ordinary" hotel stay. If a stay here is not on your "wish list"...you're missing out!!
