Really enjoyed the food from here. It is inexpensive compared to a lot of places near Central Park and the service was quick. If there was only one complaint, it would be that there is not much space.... but with it only being a halp block away from Central Park, you should order to go and eat it in the park. Will come back again
Visited 1 year ago and the sandwiches were incredible! We were very hungry but my sandwich tasted like a burger as a sandwich. I had the Rocking Steak Hero and my husband had the Thanksgiving Dinner. Both absolutely delicious
One of the many sandwich shops by Central Park, but and awesome choice. Food made fresh, quick service and a lively atmosphere. I so wish I could have a meal there today.
Keep this in mind it’s 8:10 AM in the morning. First time today ordering the Breakfast Special. I seen the board outside and I was seriously amazed how much you get for a great price so that decided my choice for me. *sigh* everything was so wrong. The toast was covered with too much butter. Bacon definitely not cooked properly. Potatoes so salty. Only good thing came out of it was the eggs and the ham. It just seem like nobody wanted to cook so they was forced and rushed it so they could get it over with. Only reason why I’m giving it a three stars because the two ladies by the cashier are very nice and sweet so I don’t blame for anything. They very helpful and wonderful but the guys the cooks themselves are horrible and very careless. Just going to go back to my regular bagel and cream cheese and jelly toasted can’t go wrong on that order.
My best friend took me to this place since it is her favourite spot in the city. It has now become MY favourite spot too! I had the Chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was so delicious. Looking forward to come back here and have this sandwich... I am still dreaming about the bread and the tasty chicken/sauce.
The neighborhood joint for sandwiches in a neighborhood with very few joints. I ordered the Vietnamese sandwich here. Shredded chicken with cucumber cilantro mayo sricha on a toasted hero. Pretty darn good. It also comes in a pork version. Nothing special but not bad. The fries are standard.
My husband and I walked in around 6 or so and it was quiet. We walked right up to the front. My first impression is that the menu board is hard to read if your eyes aren't perfect but my husband helps me out. I ordered the Chicken Parm Sandwich and he orders a chicken buffalo sandwich. With 2 bottled juice drinks so close to central park at about $21 I feel that it's a good deal. My husband enjoyed his sandwich. However my chicken was so overcooked that although I prefer a well done steak, couldn't manage to chew through this chicken. I took 2 bites from it and decided it wasnt worth it. My husband was told by one of the cashiers they didnt want to give a refund because I took those 2 bites. Someone else approved it. Then they decided to talk poorly about us in Spanish, and although I'm white and my husband is black, we speak fluent Spanish. And to top it off the only other couple in the place left more than half of their food left on the table. I dont recommend this place solely based on how they handled an issue.
Fantastic sandwiches and wraps. Nice little place to stop there are some tables to sit down! after exploring Central Park
This is perfect authentic NY sandwich spot in the center. I suggest Vietnamise sandwich with pork, it is awesome :
Near to Central Park you get good fresh sandwich's at a reasonable price. It gets hectic at times which is a good indication of the value.
