Went for breakfast here this morning with my wife and son and was a great experience. The service was fantastic, really friendly and fast and efficient and made sure you were well looked after. The food was a great surprise as didn’t expect it to be as good as it was, was definitely worth far more than they charge. I had the Californian Benedict which was a great take on Eggs Benedict. We also had the Nutella Pancakes and Poached eggs on toast and they were just as good. If you are near Astros in Midtown then definitely drop in for breakfast when you are in New York you will not be disappointed.
Day one in NYC. Cafe style dining on the sidewalk. Super fast and friendly service. Pastrami sandwich for me and a burger for my daughter. Pastrami was good but missed the mustard. Fries and burger delicious. Happy bellies. Back to exploring!!
Great classic diner experience! They have a huge variety to choose from on their menu for breakfast. You can get healthier options like the varieties of yogurt parfaits or sweet options like pancakes. The pancake menu is huge and you'll have a hard time deciding but you can't go wrong with any of the options. I got the Dulce De Leche pancakes and tried the Polynesian pancakes my friend got. Both were amazing! I took leftovers of my pancakes home. The place was very busy when we went but the service was still pretty good. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free toast.
I write reviews based on how satisfying my visit was. This one was memorable. Great food, but exceptional service. Highly recommend!!
So, we see this place after leaving a show and thought we'd try it out for breakfast in the morning. It had the look of a typical dinner and it was walking distance from the hotel. We arrived at 8am, and had no problem getting seated, but as soon as we walked through the plastic barrier, we were greeted with "Good Morning, follow me" and not even given the option to sit inside. They seated us outside, which was enclosed with plastic and small heaters above. The temp was around 39 degrees, and it was ok, but not comfortable. We asked if we could sit inside and the waitress accommodated us. Once inside there were five open booths that I could see, so not sure what their reasoning is on seating. The food, nothing to write home about. The strawberry shortcake pancakes were good. All that you would expect, whip cream and sauce. The Western Omelette, was not an Omelette. Scramble eggs with a little ham, onions and green peppers thrown on top while on the grill and folded over twice. Don't think there was any cheese. Very dry and over cooked. Atmosphere was kinda like sit, eat, leave. The waitress did refill our coffee twice, but there was not any type of small talk. All business. I wouldn't say not to try the place, I'm sure they have meals that are worth it, but don't expect too much.
Amazing and friendly service. The atmosphere was very inviting with everyone talking and enjoying their food. I got the Californian Benedict, and it was delicious. The portion was great for the price!
Loved this place. Visited with my wife last weekend. She has a couple of allergies and they were very flexible in support. Quality of ingredients was impressive and made all the difference. I can see why the place was so packed.Dine in: Yes
So delicious! I got the pesto burger and it was mouthwateringly good! Our server was also so nice, I ordered this thermos thing because my name's Astro and when my dad told the server that she gave me a free mug! I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in NYC again.
Great diner food. My party enjoyed everything we had from Pizza burgers to pie to egg cream. The staff was quick and attentive. There's nothing fancy about the place, but it's everything you want from a good diner. I definitely go back.
A classic American Diner in the heart of Manhattan since 1980. We ordered 2 pastrami sandwiches and than regular coffees and enjoyed our time over green seats. You can find whatever you like in their menu. Brekfast, Lunch or Dinner, doesn’t matter; you’ll find something to eat that suits you. By the way; service was great also.
