Angelico La Pizzeria

In the past, this place was great. HOWEVER, the last year this restaurant has become awful. I have ordered several times through Uber Eats. The last SIX times I ordered the portabella sandwich, I either received pasta or a meat sandwich. I am a vegetarian. The pizza is inconsistent, and I am seriously unsure about whether these people actually know house to run a restaurant. The taste is always off. Unfortunate.

I was really disappointed in the way the pizza came. The best part for me was the crust. Don't bother wasting your time here if you have small children as they do not have high chairs and the person that was helping me did not seem to care. Plus if you have a stroller forget it as it gets a step up and I mean a step. Don't waste your money or time here. Go to Tentelytown instead where they have highchairs, more friendly and better customer service and more better than those in wheelchairs and strollers. Thanks I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Ordered on Uber eats under the business name Aasta La Pizza. When I tried to find it on google maps that name didn’t come up so I was really confused but this is the pizza place at the same address so I assume they go by both names or something? When I figured out it must be this place and read the terrible reviews I tried to cancel my Uber eats order but it was too late. The food came on time and the order was correct pepperoni and sausage XL pizza and we actually enjoyed it. It wasn’t the best pizza in the dc by any means but for the price point I’d say it was pretty good and way better than i was expecting based off the reviews!

This applies specifically to one individual at the restaurant – exceptionally rude, disrespectful, and consistently late in completing tasks, all while lacking competence in their job. A regrettable encounter with this particular staff member.Service: 1/5

Ordered food for dinner with my family the night of 2/3/23. When I went to pick up my food I was hesitant about leaving without checking my to go order to make sure everything was there! While I was doing so, the man working that night said “everything is in there” and I trusted him. When I went home I opened the bag, my blue cheese was not included with my 10 piece wing order! That completely ruins my wing experience with no sauce?!! Wings with no sauce! Really?! Terrible experience, DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TOGO ORDER EVEN IF THE STAFF SAY EVERYTHING IS THERE! They lie!!

The worst service and worst chicken wings I have ever tasted. Although I clearly mentioned that it was not a take out and I was having my meal at the table he still brought two tightly knotted bags and told me “it’s a lot of food”. I struggled to open the bags to find absolutely horrible tasting chicken wings. It tasted like discarded bird wings meant for animal consumption, not humans, carelessly slabbed with buffalo sauce straight from the fridge. Oh, and do not tip in advance. They didn’t deserve a dime for that humiliating service and 40$ wasted on garbage food.

I love your pizza, but this is twice this has happened to us. Delivery is half the pizza battle. Three strikes and you guys are out.

First, 5 stars on delivery time. I ordered online at 7:09 and the delivery guy arrived at 7:35 on a Wednesday night. The knocked off stars were because the supreme pizza was just meh, especially for the price. The toppings were bland and I just wasn’t impressed. The crust was thick and fluffy though, which I liked.

I went to order a pizza to take away. I ordered an xtra large split half way as a veggie and half as a spicy meatlovers. When I was waiting I was reading the reviews in here and I was thinking, "oh man, what have I gotten myself into?" because of all of the negative reviews. I was handed the big box with my pizza inside, walked home with it, and discovered a very good, world class pizza! The crust was just right. The sauce was just right. The toppings were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep making excellent pizzas!!
