Animal Protection League of New Jersey

APLNJ has helped me several times over the years. Whether it was looking for help with an animal or a question about veganism, they have always provided help and support. I find their staff and volunteers to be educated, responsive and pleasant to deal with. I'm proud to have a worthwhile organization such as this in my own backyard. It's great to be able to donate to grassroots organizations and see my hard earned money being spent in my own community!

If I had not stumbled across APLNJ (back when they were NJARA) close to 20 years ago, I would not be vegan today, nor would I not have the awareness I do today!! They are a true grassroots organization, and dedicated 110% for the animals in addition to helping the community with animal rights related issues! Check them out asap!

APLNJ works the most effectively of any grassroots animal rights organization! When I call to ask with concerns about different animal issues, I receive informed thoughtful responses & a willingness to provide resources and expertise.

Their phone system is designed to frustrate you and for you to hang up. They should be ashamed of themselves how hard it is to get a human on the phone when you're trying to help injured or hurt or abused animal. Shame on you guys.

There members threaten to kill hunters, damage hunters property. They call this a black and white issue (not sure what that even meens) they send messages on face book harnessing people and then block you so you can't respond. Animal protection?? No no it's just stop hunting.....call it like it is
