The food is delicious, even more so when you’re hungry. The waitress was phenomenal! Super friendly with humor : she recommended I try this and it was very good actually! It’s called the fiesta lime chicken. I personally love chicken so that was delicious. We ordered mozzarella sticks as appetizers. The bathrooms were clean and decently taken care of. I have to brush my teeth immediately after eating so I have developed a habit of judging every place by how clean the bathroom is. Needless to say I prefer this location over any other Applebee’s in the Phoenix/Metro area.
My friend ordered the all you can eat boneless bites with fries. I ordered the Mac & Cheese with chicken strips and garlic bread. Mine was pretty good, I'd love to see the portion a bit more though. Over all, I could've eaten more, all tasted very good Food: 4/5
Had dinner here with my grandma for her birthday and we were served by Amy G who did an amazing job, she was very sweet and helpful! We enjoyed our food and my grandma had a great birthday here. We will definitely be returning, thank you Amy!!
It's an Applebee's I don't know what you want me to say. Our server Jeff was incredible even late on weeknight. Our food came out in a timely fashion, fresh, hot, and tasty as expected. Our drinks were well mixed well poured and relatively well priced for the area. We don't come to chain restaurants often but we usually come to this Applebee's when we do.
Our server seemed new, so there were some mishaps. We ordered the All you can eat boneless wings. And we were being charged $.50 for extra dipping sauce, after the first small cup, if we needed any to dip the reorders of wings. I had stopped going to Applebee's because the service and food quality declined and this was pre COVID! I was in St. Louis and a friend suggested we go and we did, even being extremely short staffed we received better service. When they brought out your reorder they also brought out fries as well. Not at this Arizona location they brought out these huge plates with 4 or 5 boneless wings on them sliding across the plates. I was done with the lack of care and attention that our food was leaving the kitchen. And there was no need to ask for a manager because he was one of the ones who brought this out like this! So needless to say they are back on my blackout list.
The manager is rude and unfair. The food was good but the overall atmosphere was just negative. I feel like none of the waitresses cared about their jobs they all just stood around joking to one another. Ours personally kept coming by just trying to get our order after every two minutes kinda like she just wanted to get us in and get us out.
Applebees does great for all veterans. Their staff are amazing. Ron,the Mgr,Dorshea, the server. Their steak,& Fiesta Chicken are great
Applebee's has very tasty American fare at relatively reasonable prices. Being on a visit to Phoenix, I have had two meals at this Applebee's. The first night we got to town, we stopped for a late supper. I had the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp, served on a hot griddle - de-e-licious! My husband enjoyed the Fish & Chips. There were few other people in the dining room, but our server made us feel very welcome and valued as guests. I enjoyed the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp so much that I ordered it for takeout on our second visit. Husband got the Bourbon Street Steak and his mom ordered Chicken Tenders. Everything was tasting, they accurately prepared our takeout order and had it hot and ready when I arrived to pick it up. Altogether a delightful restaurant.
Plenty of empty seating however they're stating that it's going to be a 45 to an hour wait to be seated. #GTFOH
My wife walked in and talked with the hostess who came back to inform me that they wouldn't take our names. I asked why and she said they said they don't take down names and the wait will be over an hour. I than excused to go find out what in the world is happening. When I approached the hostess working Dec 18th 2022 at 9:30pm - 9:45pm saying " My wife is saying you guys don't take down names?" She said "yeah, it's not busy enough to take down names." Which than why is there an hour wait time if it's not busy. Mind you that the restaurant had more than 14 tables that I could see available. I immediately took this as an approach to get people to leave and not want to stay. I explained that our worry in not taking our names is that we would lose our place to somebody else if we were waiting outside as an example. She than rudely said "Actually sir, you won't lose your place if you stay right here." Which I responded with attitude as well saying " I have to stand right here next to you to make sure nobody steals my spot in line because you won't write our names down?" She got a big smile on her face and said "Exactly!" I do not know who that person is but her attitude is unacceptable. She made everyone feel like we were being rude just for just existing. I don't like the way she talked to me or my wife. Strongly advise some additional training or putting her in a position where she doesn't face customers. Like promotion to customer.
