Applied Bank

Whatever you do, DO NOT open a credit card with Applied Bank, EVER! I had one and the stress they put me through every single month was ridiculous! I would pay them automatically every month, and on months I paid extra to pay them off, they would somehow come up with schemes to get even more money out of me. They would calculate finance charges on a ZERO dollar balance!! Not only would they do that, they had the nerve to call my cell phone, NONSTOP, to get that money. When I asked how I had a finance charge when I paid it off in full, the mentally retarded CSR's would tell me the finance charges weren't added until after I paid them- HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE??!!? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourselves a favor and steer clear of these people! They are NO GOOD, they are LIARS, they are CHEATERS, and they will make your life MISERABLE!!! My recommendations are Capital One and Household Bank credit cards. I NEVER EVER had a problem with those guys!
