Aqua Star Swim Lessons

Carin has taught both of our kiddos swim lessons and we can't recommend her highly enough. They are very different kids and we love her approach and how she interacts with each of them. After each starting lessons around a year old, our 7-year-old is now on swim team and loving it and our 3-year-old knows how to swim and be safe in the pool. The smaller size of the pool was also really helpful in getting our kids comfortable in the water since it's less intimidating than a huge rec center pool.

My daughter was a tough one. We had tried many places/lessons and Carin got her to swim. She's direct and no nonsense which is what our daughter needed. It was a miracle! Such an essential life skill so we're really appreciative.

Carin is amazing! We brought our daughter to Aqua Star's after she had a bad experience during a group swim class. She was terrified after that incident and we ended up quitting. Luckily a neighbor recommended Carin and Aqua Star's. Carin made our daughter feel so comfortable and safe during the private lessons. She had her swimming after 1-2 months of private lessons and loves the water! I can not recommend Aqua Star's enough!

Our Grandchildren get lessons with Carin, we couldn't be more Blessed to have her teaching them. In the begining they both cried a lot. She managed to get them to a place where they Love the water and are becoming great little swimmers with a great understanding of the rules to be safe in the water! Thank you Carin!

Aqua Star is great! I have two daughters 7yrs & 4yrs. who were scared of putting their heads under water and floating. We had done group classes for 2-3 months and with the limited 1:1 time they were making little progress. After their first individual classes at Aqua Star I could see how quickly their confidence changed. They were excited to go to class every week and loved the ‘big bath tub’ which felt less intimidating than a large and busy pool. The instructor was sweet and took the time to listen to the girls’ fears then worked with both of them to overcome them. I highly recommend Aqua Star to people who are introducing their children to the pool/swimming, as well as children who may be fearful or struggling to get it to ‘click’. The location is lovely and looks over a beautiful lake and pricing is reasonable/ well worth the value!

My children took swim lessons with Caron for several years. They were timid swimmers when they started, and benefited from her approach that built their skills and their confidence. Her classes are fun, effective, and reasonably priced. We highly recommend them!

Both of my kids took lessons at Aqua Star with great success. They loved learning to swim with Carin even after a bad experience at another swim school. She is good at pushing the child in the right ways to challenge them and very encouraging.

I can't say enough good things about Carin and Shayna at Aqua Star! After two lessons my kid was jumping into the pool over her head, self righting, and being able to float on her own- I actually teared up because it is such a great fear that my kid would fall in a pool or water and not be able to give me time to save her! My daughter loves going, and is so excited when she realizes it's swim lesson day! There is a playground that she plays on if we get there too early, or have time before dinner too!

Carin did an amazing job teaching our daughter to first like the water, how to be safe in and around the water, and then become a really good swimmer.

Aqua star was awesome!!! My daughter loved the teachers and really enjoyed the one on one time. She was swimming after no time at all!!! Would highly recommend them!
