Never lived here but when we applied in December we got told to just pay the almost $500 deposit so if we got approved we’d secure the apartment. We were told if we weren’t approved we’d be fully refunded. We didn’t get approved and it’s now middle of February and we still haven’t gotten our money back. I called to ask where it is and why it’s taken months to get it back. They said they didn’t know they mailed it out and that they couldn’t help me. Just to call me back less than 10 minutes later and say actually accounting got the check back on Friday. So they actually have the money still. This is a very sketchy business practice. They very easily could have just taken and kept my money.
I've lived in multiple apartment complexes across wichita and the staff here have been by far the most professional and friendly. It's location is excellent for shopping/groceries etc, plus I work down the road at beach craft so my commute is an easy few minute drive. The manager could not have been more accommodating to my needs as I was moving back from out of state. I will be a long term resident for sure!
This place has nonstop crime against tenants with ZERO action from the management. They fixate on ridiculous infractions while disregarding shot out windows, drug activity, theft, etc. Place is junk.
I have lived here two years. 1 in a 1 bedroom and 1 in a 2 bedroom. I don't plan on moving anytime soon. My apartment is very spacious and I have a good sized patio where I have a lot of plants so I'm still able to garden. Luckily my neighbors have been established here for awhile. Our pool is nice and I can view it from my patio. Drawback is that neighbors use the grounds and parking lot for their trash.
DON’T MOVE TO THIS APARTMENT. IT HAS BEDBUGS!!!! I’ve heard from so many people complaining about bedbugs in this apartment but the manager does not do anything. THE MANAGER IS SUPER RUDE. She acts like we work for her. I don’t know what she gets paid for , to put some makeup to sit there and relax the whole day I guess. Such an easy job. THEY DONT COME FOR PEST CONTROL and the manager change everyday ok!!!! When we moved in to the apartment they didn’t clean the carpets and the wall wasn’t painted either. They were supposed to come fix some stuff but they didn’t at all. The rent keeps increasing every month. THE WATER BILL IS SUPER HIGH, $60, $70,80 and sometimes $90. Electric bill is like $300. We had water leaking problem in the sink and throughout the 3 years we lived they weren’t able to fix it. Our apartment stinked every time we walked in. We’ve moved from 3 different apartments and never had to deal with such issue. The playground has been damaged since we moved here but with all the rent and utility bill they rob from us they haven’t been able to fix it yet!!! They charge additional around $400 charge on top of buyout fee of $1590. If you wanna deal with all this issue then move here. I’m glad the our family doesn’t live here anymore. Atleast my monthly is cheaper and my kids can play in a playground now.
What can I say but my wife and I love our new apt! It is so spacious it does not seem like a apt at all. After recently selling the home we lived in for forty years we were alittle apprehensive, but not anymore we couldn’t be happier. Jessica made the transition from home dwellers to apartment living easy for us. She is well suited for her job. A very caring person. Bobby in maintenance is also very good in what he does. He always does a wonderful job fixing whatever we need fixed, and is a very friendly person. We highly recommend the Aragon for a homey place to live.
My wife and I moved in here a few months ago and we love it here! The complex, units, and people are all so nice : the pavement is worn but they’re about to resurface it so that’s not even an issue now. Maintenance is speedy and helpful. The only thing I don’t like is that there is a gate on an entrance that is never used covering a lot of the entryway making it hard to come and go if someone is also trying to enter or leave at the same time. Other than small things like that, this place is great! Couldn’t recommend it enough!
My experience at Aragon apartments has been the best experience at any apartment complex ever. Manger Jessica has made it a easy stress free moving process for me. She has made it very home welcoming. This is by far the best management ive ever came across. The neighbors are also very welcoming as well. My past apartment complex was a horrible experience for me. This has made it a very great experience for my child and I. This is home to us.
I loved Aragon the first time I lived there. But after they change management during the second time I lived there 2018/2019, it broke my heart to see what the apartments became.... I was charged almost $900 for CARPET when I moved out 1bdrm The cheap 2 twist polyester and rebond cushion kind, they kept my $600 deposit and turned around and charged me an additional $300? Are you kidding me!? Although they change the carpet in every single apartment that someone moves out of because I watched it EVERY TIME a tenant moved out? although the first time I lived at Aragon under manager Krystal and Kay I got my entire deposit back and they used my apt to show to potential renters because it was kept up so nice... under this NEW management I not only don't get my deposit I'm charged EXTRA? Aragon was my HOME I LOVED. I'll be honest, my dog had chewed a small section of carpet between the "fancy" rolling eyes sheet vinyl and carpet in the living room. I work in the industry, have for years, the carpet could have been stretched and cut and the transition piece put back down, BUT if they really thought it needed replaced... they could of cut and seamed it from the bedroom, which would not cost $900. And they can't say anything about Pet urine you know cause they are crooks and try to find an excuse to justify screwing you because my dog is not only trained to use pads, I had so many large area rugs just in case, so there wasn't floor space for him to go on. The guy living next to me died in his apartment... the maintenance guys showed me the state of that apartment along with several others that they were working on so I know the terrible condition other tenants have left apartments, which is why my mother and I went above and beyond cleaning this one... that is what is so insulting!! Aragon NEVER had openings because it was a highly coveted place to call home, now its low end and the good residence that did live there they screw because we moved out because there are people digging in the trash cans stealing residents info, yes it happened to my neighbor in the next building who had credit cards opened using her info, and gun shots ringing out! I have lived in over 12 apartments in Wichita and Derby and ALWAYS got my deposit back...I have photos i posted been below the day i moved out and a video after my mom and I cleaned it SPOTLESS because I really needed my $600 deposit back AND I asked for a walk through when I turned in my keys when i moved out and was denied.... I was told "we don't do that with the tenants" GEE I WONDER WHY If Krystal would of still been manager id of gotten all my money back. The letter that they sent was dated May 23rd, my lease wasn't up until May 31st so they should of also pro-rated the fact they were in that apartment PRIOR to my end date i paid in full. So please understand the apartment space itself, amazing, but the management a bunch of scheming lying unprofessional crooks. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!
I would NOT recommend these apartments. Although the price is decent, I don't think it's worth living here! The management needs to be fixed! They close their offices for lunch at random times so it makes it hard for you to pick up your packages and drop off rent. OR they just close their office... Also, with rent. You have to be careful with dropping rent off. You must personally hand it to them and ask for a receipt, BUT They don't have receipts, so instead they photocopy INITIAL AND DATE! And you ask why I have them do that? Well my husband stopped by the office to drop off the money. One of the maintenance people was told by one of the managers to just set it on the table note that we dropped it off early. So that's exactly what my husband did. 2 weeks later we received a phone call stating that our rent was late. My husband said no, we put it on the desk as instructed. The manager then said "oh well no you dropped it off at the drop box". Are they stupid!? Their drop box isn't a drop box. It just falls right on the floor... One star for the price & that's it. DONT LIVE HERE IF YOU CANT DEAL WITH MANAGERS LIKE THEM OR STUPID RANDOM OFFICE HOURS.
