Eagle Creek Apartments

They charged us 450 dollars to replace all the carpet of the apartment just because they can’t match the carpet in the living room it’s only two small holes in the living room's carpet. They can't patch it effectively so they decided to replace the all carpet even though our bedroom carpet is nice and clean. It’s definitely not a pet friendly apartment we paid 230 dollars for pet fees, pet DNA test fee and pet admin fee every month, but you still see dog's poop almost everywhere. They said the pet fee is for cleaning the apartment, but they replace a new carpet. What's the point to clean then?

I lived in an apartment here for 2 years. For the most part, my wife and my experience was fine, but upon move out we were hit with fees. We have a puppy, who did some damage to the carpet in the living room. After seeing a bill for over $300 I called to question regarding what I thought was a pet deposit that would cover some of the damages. Was told those fees I paid for the dog covered none of that. Then I was told they tried to patch the spots of damage, but the people they hired said it needed replacing. Instead of just replacing the damaged carpet in the living room, they have replaced all the carpeting in the entire apartment, including the bedroom which had no damage. This is getting billed entirely to us. I would recommend they rethink how they treat people moving out. I would not recommend living here after having to pay over $400 now for replacing all the carpet because of damage in a small area of the living room. It feels predatory, and I feel scammed. Avoid if you don’t want surprise fees.

I am a professional guy who was very interested in renting a 1 or 2 bdrm apt last year. I spoke to Laura a few times who gave me information about the units that were available. When I left a message for Eagle Creek in September 2021 for an apt since at that time I needed to move in immediately I never heard back from them. Unfortunately, I am now stuck in Derby, KS since this is the only place I could get an apt because of the way the rental market is.

Robert, who usually comes to my apartment for maintenance issues is a great guy. He fixes everything in no time. Overall, I would rate 10/10 for maintenance/repairs services at Eagle Creek.

The maintenance at Eagle Creek is very prompt and knowledgeable. They will not hesitate to replace something that needs replacing.

Robert did a great job installing our door and went out of his way. He is friendly and professional.

I really like it here. I came from California but circumstances forced me to move somewhere with more value. An online friend of mine who was already in Kansas was looking for a roommate, which is how I ended up here. I was actually the one to discover this place online and was impressed with all the high ratings. It was a relief because the rent was in my budget and it seemed like a miracle property based on all the rave reviews The one negative review seems to be mistaking this property for elsewhere. It seems that this is a nice quiet place for people like me who just want to live and be comfortable. My idea of a party is curling up with a blanket, sipping hot cocoa, and watching an I Love Lucy marathon. I hope this review will encourage others like that to become future residents. : I feel a strong sense of community where someone might do something nice for you, and even if you don't know who did it, you might pay it forward to someone else. Laura, the property manage is exceptionally courteous and makes sure your needs are met! The grounds are well kept, the grass was mown every Friday morning in the summer. Shelby with maintenance is great and always responds promptly to issues! He'll go above and beyond to make sure your issue is fixed. Very impressed with their organizational skills. They care about their tenants, often have small activities, and decorate seasonally. I'm in a two bedroom and it feels pretty spacious. I actually like that the kitchen is out of view from the front door. Very nice spacious balconies. Fireplace. Two sinks in the bathroom. My fridge is a bit small but it works great. Old electric oven, but I've managed to make some of the best stir fries of my life here. No overhead lights or fans in the bedrooms, but with a nice lamp and cleverly hung LED lights, I've created a really cozy space. I hope things will stay this way and I can consider this home for a good while! :

It's been almost a year since I left eagle Creek and I miss it very much. Such beautiful and comfortable apartments. The fireplace is a nice touch. Extremely quiet! Leah is a great manager and works hard to be fair to everyone. Shelby and Robert were always quick and proficient with my maintenance needs. Out of all the places I lived in Kansas, eagle Creek was definitely the best! If I move back to Kansas I will definitely be renting there again.

Eagle Creek was my home for many years and has a special place in my heart! The team there is incredible, nice, and work very hard with a lot moving pieces that come with running a community. They have huge hearts Thank you Laura, Shelby & Robert! You all are AMAZING!

I've lived at the Eagle Creek Apartments for over 7 months and am completely satisfied. Leah, the manager, has been very helpful and friendly and makes one feel welcome. My neighbors are great as are the other residents I have run into. The apartments are quiet and outside noise is minimal. I take frequent walks and the neighborhood seems very safe. Only one maintenance issue, with a smoke alarm after I changed the battery, and that was replaced withing 10 minutes. Again, I'm very happy here and have no plans to leave any time soon.
