I had an almost unbelievably bad customer service experience at the Scottsdale Road store on Thursday, May 3rd around 1:00 p.m. I intended to buy more supplies to augment my $300 purchase of a month prior. Among the items I bought at the store earlier was a small jar of unused linseed oil which had a faulty cap that failed to open. I asked the two young women to exchange it or succeed in opening the cap so I could use the product. "Do you have a receipt?", one of the girls asked. I said "No, I do not." "Then I'm sorry. we cannot help you she replied." I said, "Are you serious? I did purchase it here". Everything went downhill from there. I finally realized I couldn't get anywhere with my attempt to explain the illogical business position they were taking. Wait, it gets worse: Oh, never mind... I gave up on these two idiots and walked out. Bottom line: Lost sale, lost customer all over an insignificant customer request. Brad Jones Scottsdale, AZ

Small selection and high prices. Much higher than than they should be. The employees are nice and knowledgeable but I just cant get over the price hike. Its literally 5 minutes from where I live, but I choose to drive to Jerry's Art store in Tempe, they have a huge selection and always have some awesome deal going on.

Super friendly staff. Very helpful, had supplies I couldn't find at other shops.
