I have been living here for the past 3 years and this is the first time I’ve had a serious issue due to new management. I have a serious leak somewhere in the apartment that causes large puddles of water to seep up from the flooring every time I flush the toilet. After calling emergency maintenance a few days ago, it took them at least 2 hours to even come and look at the apartment. They cut into every wall to try to find the leak and couldn’t find it, therefore having to contract out to a plumber in town to find the source of the problem. I was told a plumber can’t make it to our place until Monday, 2 days later. Now, the toilet doesn’t flush at all and there is no water in it. I again had to call maintenance about this last night and they let us know that the toilet is completely unusable. We were told last night that we would be given an access code to a different apartment a few buildings over just to use the bathroom. I had to call 3 more times in order to even acquire this access code that I was told I’d get called with right away. The access code we were given expired after 11pm and I had to walk instead all the way to my sister’s apartment to use the toilet, who luckily lives here. It’s outrageous and unacceptable to be living in an apartment with no working toilet and water seeping up through the floors. We still have no solution to all of this and do not even know a definite time that a plumber will get here. We’ve been told we are unable to break our lease and move to a new community. Do NOT rent here if you want functioning facilities, including a TOILET.
I don’t even live here and just from my experience walking into the office to get help for a delivery, don’t see why anybody would. Very rude & unprofessional staff. Lady who sits in the room off to the right of the office was rude and zero help when I was trying to deliver a tenant their package. I called the tenant multiple times to get an access code to enter the property and no response. After waiting and hearing back nothing I decided to get down and go into the office hoping they could help and let me into the gate. They said they weren’t allowed to let me enter on the property and I needed an access code. I asked if I could leave the package in the office and take a picture for proof of delivery since I couldn’t get on the property, and they said I couldn’t do that either. The only way I could get in the gate is if I follow somebody in? WHAT?!?! So you’re not going to let me leave the package in the office? You’re not going to let me onto the property but I can follow somebody into the gate? That was her solution. Make it make sense The whole situation and how she handled it was very unprofessional and uncalled for. Do better. With that being said and not being able to enter the property, I left the package outside of the front of the office. Hope they got it thanks to miss difficult ‍
My electontic door stoppped working so no access to my apartment. Work order submitted with no response.. called management and escatated call to... no response. These folks would rather you break a window to enter your own aparentment then fix the door access issue... just crazy and completely unacceptable.
When I first started talking with the apartment office, they told me that parking isn’t an issue. This is simply not the case as I have found people competing for parking spaces and my car is now booted. I don’t appreciate that the apartment offers covered parking spaces or garages as the solution to this problem.
Overall, the best apartment experience I've had to date. The apartments themselves are very nice. Spacious kitchen with lots of cabinet space, large bathroom, in unit washer/dryer, walk in closet, very nice outdoor patios and a fireplace. Each room has it's own overhead lighting, as well as a ceiling fan in the living room and the bedroom. The overall condition when I moved in was almost perfect. They are also very well insulated, I haven't had to turn my AC on one time this summer and I've been comfortable inside using just the ceiling fans. When inside, I never hear my neighbors above me or beside me, which was always a problem at previous apartments. The pool area by the leasing office is very nice, which includes a hot tub, 2 gas grills and a cabana with a large flat screen TV. Within a 30 second walk outside of the complex there is a 24/7 gym, Smith's grocery store, Starbucks as well as several different restaurants. The maintenance of the complex is also great. Landscapers are regularly here keeping everything in good shape. They recently re-paved the entire parking lot, when in my opinion it wasn't even in bad shape. I've met families, retirees and young professionals here, everyone very friendly. To sum it up, I would say you get what you pay for in a good way. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking for a quiet, very nice home in a great location.
The pool looks dirty often, the water gets brown and gross. We were told they can’t get the chemicals right. The manager Lilah is very helpful. She cares about her tenants. Her customer service skills and management ability keeps tenants loyal to the property. The other employees in the office are a mess. Jessica looks for problems rather than being a problem solver. She has no customer service skills at all. She thinks she knows it all, and she treats good tenants like they are disposable. Someone needs to sit her down and train her on customer service, she no help at all. The glorified leasing agent is bad for customer retention, please send her back to school. Air conditioning is old and doesn’t work well in summer months. The bbq area is full of roaches, so don’t grill there.
The Staff is incredibly Unprofessional. They openly made statements on behalf of a situation from a factual standpoint that they had not seen. Incredibly discriminatory against United States Disabled Veterans and service animals. To put this kindly they are vey culturally bias. The parking situation there is absolutely horrible. I had my vehicle hit twice in the span of two weeks. They will post threatening letters and break fair housing Authority laws with out thinking twice. If you enjoy privacy and respect don’t bother even looking at this place. If you have anyone of darker skin pigment or is heavily tattooed that visits you then expect consistent judgments and accusations from the staff. I wouldn’t rent here if it’s half of what they charge. The staff is a sorry excuse of professionals. I challenge the owner to do a audit on her staff just to see how bad her staff operates.
By far my favorite apartment complex in Albuquerque. I lived there for about 9 months or so, and only moved out because I moved out of state. The property is very nice and always well kept and clean. It’s also in a great location - close to stores, very safe, and is gated! The gym was the perfect size for me, along with two pool/ hot tub areas with grills. Bobbie, Lilah, and Eli, along with all the maintenance guys, made my stay there even better. They were always so very nice to me and my dog. They made it feel like a home with friendly faces, rather than just some apartment complex with managers. If any problems ever arose they were on top of it immediately. I definitely recommend living here!
It is my pleasure to write a rave revue for Arterra Apartments on Wyoming Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM. The management team, Bobbie and her team, are fantastic. They are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, and very efficient. It has never taken me two days to do a one days work with them. Paul, the maintenance supervisor, and his maintenance crew are the best. They are consistently and totally dependable. The grounds and amenities are immaculate. The pool and work out area are well maintained and very clean. The apartments are almost totally soundproof, and there is very little traffic, so parking is no problem. I love living here both because of the place and the people. It is luxury all the way around, so come on down neighbor. Ask for me, Dr. T. Coffman. They will tell you where to find me, and we will have coffee.
Absolutely outstanding customer service. I am currently looking to move in May of next year. Today I went in to tour an apartment. I spoke with a Susan, she was extremely kind and was so easy to connect with. She was knowledgable about her product and answered all my questions. I felt that she allowed me to take my time and walk through the apartment. The community itself was clean and well organized. The apartment looked brand new even though it was built late 90’s. In comparison to multiple properties I visited this one stood out to me! I am so happy to have found my home for when I move May of 2021. Thank you so much!!
