These guys do a fantastic job! All the staff try very hard to get to know you, get you comfortable, and teach you at your own pace. They have one-on-one lessons, as well as group lessons. The one-on-ones are great, but the group ones really take you out of your comfort zone -- yet it is kept fun at the same time. You can tell they're honestly trying to get you where you want to be. On more than one occasion a 1/2 hour lesson ran long because we were still working on something. Really great group of fun, energetic, caring folks (Monica, Darren, Jackson, others too) who want you to have fun and succeed! Highly recommended.

I have loved working with all of the instructors at Arthur Murray KC! They are able to help you tailor a dance program specific to your goals and make it fun! The combination of group lessons, private lessons, and studio parties has helped me become a more confident and versatile dancer.

My husband and I love Arthur Murray KC! We came in wanting to be more social and confident on the dance floor, and that's what we've gotten from Day 1. All of the instructors are wonderful, and we've met some awesome people who also love to dance! I highly recommend this studio to anyone wanting to learn to dance and become more comfortable with social dancing. Great instruction, personable staff, and plenty of opportunities to be social and learn technique from others. What do you have to lose? Join us on the dance floor!

I've been coming here from about 1.5 years and I still love it. Every instructor is more qualified, friendly, and just absolutely wonderful in general. They teach several styles of smooth and rhythm ballroom dances for all occasions.

I am thrilled I chose Arthur Murray of Lenexa. Originally I chose it because they offered a wider range of dances than most other studios in the area. But now I'm hooked because I LOVE LOVE LOVE my instructors! They really take the time to learn what your goal is (whether you just want to learn to try something new, or for exercise, or in my case--to compete in competitions), and tailor your lessons to that goal. I like that they encourage a mix of private lessons, group lessons and practice parties because as I've learned, you really become a better dancer by going to all 3. The camaraderie amongst all the students is such a plus. We practice together before/after classes, and you'll get people you don't even know encouraging you. And did I mention I LOVE my instructors? From day 1, all of them are so excited to see you. They're always full of encouragement and high-fives. I have no idea how they remember everything about my schedule, because honestly, sometimes I don't always remember. They even got me a birthday card, even though I had only been there for a few weeks. Each instructor is so full of exuberance and laughs that the time flies by. It's because of these guys that at my first competition ever in Vegas, I recently won the Top Student award and placed 3rd in the All-Around. Amy, Monica, Tavier, Darren, Katherine and Jackson--you guys are the real reason I keep coming. The dancing is just a bonus.
