Artondale Farm Farm Stand

I'm an apprentice here at the farm since April. The Hogan Family graciously accepted me in after I was asked to leave the Gig Harbor Farmers Market over pricing disagreements with the Market manager. I'm learning commercial farming and how to propagate herbs. I'm also learning how to plant seeds in sprouting trays and repot into containers for resale. During apprenticeship, all herb sale income goes towards building up the herb business for the future. I got 11 flats of lavender to plant in front of the Old Grange Building to propagate for sale next year. I'm learning so much from this wonderful family and having a blast at the same time. I'm meeting many new people too. Stop by and see this incredible farm and the hardworking family that strives to keep local, farm-fresh produce and eggs available in their community. All of the products they sell are grown or made right on the farm. It's awesome!!!!
