Dog In the Park

Everything about this place is wildly overblown. these great reviews? Clearly, Seattle has never had an All-American hotdog. First, it is in the park, so enjoying your food is almost impossible while taking in the scenery which includes hoards of homeless, tourists, and squealing kids. Secondly, it's even harder to choke down your food when you start thinking about the sole person behind the counter, who takes the orders, takes the money (handling money is nasty), cooks the food; all with no gloves and no handwashing. Surely standards apply to food stands. Just in the 10 minutes or so we watched him, we saw him take orders from 6 or so customers; take money, complete orders for several, hand those out, and in between, touch his face, his hair, wipe his hands on his pants several times, etc. Third, who puts beans in hot dog chilli? Really?! Cream Cheese? Disgusted, disappointed, disheartened. Memorial Day Fail.

AMAZING. Great & unique menu. Fun atmosphere. My son loves it here & it’s not just because of the stellar hot dogs. They make him feel like a big boy. Not everyone would take the time to talk to a four year old! Our go to hot dogs.

We tried the Seattle dog here for the first time. Was really, really good. Highly recommended

Great hot dogs, they grill the onions while you wait. Very unique menu selections.
