Asgard Irish Pub & Restaurant

This is my go-to spot for lunch meetings when I need to be able to hear the other people at the table and have a conversation. It's usually not too crowded and they don't play loud music which I appreciate. The food is always great.

This is a great friendly neighborhood pub with good food and drinks. I personally loved the truth or pear martini. When the weather is nice out try to snag a table outside. If you're going during happy hour just be aware that if there is a large group there it can be very noisy and hard to hear.

A decent place to grab some drinks with friends. Ideal for larger parties. They have plenty of space and quick service. The only noise is the noise you make. Speak easy place provided no big game is on.

Nice place, large and comfortable interiors. Large drinks selection, also nice food options. Seems to be a popular after-work hangout, mostly people in late 20s and up. Many screens with different live sports. Service is occasionally slower at busy times but the staff is always nice and friendly.

The food tasted good, but was a bit bland. I had the salmon and the edges were a bit charred. The waiters are very friendly, prompt and helpful. They make jokes and make guests feel comfortable. The seating is comfortable and spacious. My only gripe is that 2 of us had stomach aches after our visit, but maybe we're just sensitive. There are so many good restaurants to visit in the Central/Kendall/Cambridgeport area of Cambridge that I would only recommend Asgard if you can't find seating elsewhere. I went with a group of 9 during lunch so this was the only place that would comfortably fit us all.
