Had an amazing date night at the Abbey. Our waitress Ashley was so great, we didn't want her to have to keep leaving! Definitely get the daquiri with the stolen rum. I've never had a drink that tasted quite like it, and it was delicious. The lamb lollipops are perfect. The brie was outstanding. You literally could not go wrong with any choice on the menu. I wish I had a really appetizing photo of our food, but it was so good that by the time I thought to take one, it was all gone. So this is the best I got.
Thanks Ashley! We'll definitely be back.

The Abbey is probably the best restaurant of its type in the area. The ambience is very good, not dominated by televisions. Has an intellectual vibe, but it's not over the top. Cool brick decor, but not too loud.
The food selection is a little hit or miss, but if you stick to pub fare it's way above average.
Libations are excellent.

Love it here. Great food. Menu changes up. Good selection of beer, alcohol, wine, etc. Friendly staff. Often bring our kid.

The staff here has always been truly kind to me. Unusually kind in a way that reminded me of the South. I've tried several wonderful menu items with many friends, and still, swinging by the bar alone and having a tall draft with the bison bolognese on a winter night is heaven. In the summer they also have a patio perfect for a glass of cold wine and a salad. It's a really lovely place.

Good food, good people and a good soul - that's what it takes to stand out in the Cambridge/Porter Sq scene, and the Abby has it in spades. Also, top notch beer, wine and liquor. Drop in once and you'll add it to your set of regular stops.
