The Beverly Depot

Now, to be upfront I ordered the salmon last time I was there. Having said that I've also had their steaks which are fabulous. Being invited out by my daughter for dinner and not being in the mood for NY sirloin I ordered the house salmon. This came with The Depot's famous salad bar which includes cheeses and fresh bread. The salad ingredients were crisp, various choices of vegetables and dressings. It is an all you can eat buffet style which works well for the Depot's atmosphere. The bins are kept tidy and fully stocked. Once you select your favorites you then move on to dressings and lastly the cheese board. I needed only one trip. My daughter ordered the sirloin strip, medium, and she was very pleased. It came with the biggest baked potato I've ever seen at a restaurant. My salmon arrived with sauteed vegetables and jasmine rice. The portion was generous and the presentation was spot on. We didn't order dessert as I'm getting round. The bathrooms are clean, well stocked and have Dyson high speed hand dryers. I would recommend The Beverly Depot for any gathering.

Great Salad bar that is rare in nice restaurants anymore. In fact that is one of the two reasons to eat here. The other is the converted train station "Great Hall" ambiance. However, it tends to get quite busy and noisy at dinner. Given that, the service is friendly and reasonably attentive. The Food I've had from the menu is just OK - not bad, but not particularly a reason to choose this place.

My favorite restaurant for date night. My boyfriend and I go to The Beverly Depot once per month for our special date night and order the steak for two - it is absolutely amazing! Served on a sizzling platter with your choice of veggie of potato. Add in the salad bar and the great service, and it is by and large my favorite place to go when it's just the two of us. They've never cooked my steak wrong.

Great dinner last night in front of the fireplace on a bitter-cold winter evening. Terrific service, extremely fresh salad bar, delicious seafood and steak. Large portions...enough to take home. Did I mention terrific, friendly service? Can't wait to return.

My boyfriend and i just went there for the first time tonight. We loved it!!! Everything from the salad bar and bread to the appetizer, entrees, and dessert was delicious. The seafood sampler was definitely a great choice for the appetizer. You get a little of each of their seafood starter plates. Soooo good. The service was also attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
