J. Anthony's Italian Grill

We come here often for reasonably priced Italian food, close to home. This last time the girls went out for appetizers and drinks. The service was terrific and the apps were great. My husband is a big fan of the veal parm and I like the chicken parm - it is a very generous helping - enough for two meals. The servings are generous and the gravy is very fresh tasting. The only drawback is the kid who is now running the joint who walks around like the cock of the walk, a little humility goes a long way.

We attended a family gathering in a special event room at J Anthony's and found the service to be excellent for a buffet. The food selection was great and I ate too much. The main restaurant part appear to be a very comfortable environment with a central bar and a good crowd of casual diners even at lunch time.

Went for celebration of life meal . Hadn't been here in over 5 years as the last experience was not great. The reception was in the back a lovely bright room. Open and airy with vaulted ceilings and walls to wall windows. A perfect setting even for an event such as this. Must be spectacular for a.wedding. There was a buffet of salad, warm dinner rolls, ziti, huge meatballs roasted chicken and sauted veggies. Everything was hot, refreshed often and very tasty. The chicken was moist which was a surprise, and the salad was crisp and very fresh. Hot dinner rolls! Nice! A very nice meal pleasant servers removed plates in a timely manner. Jugs of water on the tables were refreshed also. Was very impressed. Will go back

I went for lunch a little while ago, it was overall pretty good. The food was tasty, portions were generous. Conveniently located ride in Auburn, ample parking. Kind and courteous staff, helpful and friendly and got all of the orders right.
