Asian Cafe

Went out for lunch with my grandmother and niece, no one was there eating besides us. WE ALL HAD **BLONDE** HAIR at the time. I ordered orange chicken and fried rice I order my niece chicken fingers and fries. My second bite into the orange chicken, i found a long black hair while i was going for another bite. I call a waitress over, to show her the hair she is a older lady maybe 50s with short black hair. At this point i gave her the hair and asked for a refund since i was discussed. She claimed it came from us, i laughed and said we all have bleach blonde hair at this table how is that possible. She said no one in the kitchen has long black hair. Shes holding the hair at this point Drops it on the colorful dark carpet in there and gets on her hands and knees and looks for the hair. Again, im laughing and tell her to get up you just held the hair and the carpet is dark you won't find it. My grandma insisted she pays ( no conflict person) and out of those kitchen doors walks a younger lady with long black hair pined up with a hair net over her hair.. NO OFFER OF REFUND OR SUBSTITUTE OF FOOD!!!!!!! i haven't been back since, ill go to china buffet or dubuque before i ever give them business.

By far the best place I have eaten in the PLATTEVILLE area. My by far favorites on the menu is the fried rice, beef lo mein, chicken noodle soup, egg rolls and cheese wontons. As long as you can find what you like you will LOVE this place. Please give it a shot as i have and make this place even better! (Added) I don't think I emphasized how nice the people their are and how polite they are. Just wanted to give that credit where it's due.

I've been coming here for about as long as I can remember,I will suggest this place ANYONE.. Prices are good, food is AMAZING. You get exactly what you want, if you don't the older lady will always take care of the problem.. She is amazing.. This place deserves more recognition..

My bill was $22. When the delivery guy got to my house I handed him two twenties and he said he had no change with him. So I spent an extra $18. Food was good. But not pleased with the service because I even told them over the phone I was paying with cash.

This place was OK. I started with egg drop soup which was nice and hot but then again kind of hard for any Chinese restaurant to mess up egg drop soup. Next I had an order of the crab ragoons and they were ok, the filling was pretty orangey which meant they didn't have quiet enough cream cheese filling and the order was only for four of them. My main entree was Kun Pao Chicken and one thing that I must say bugged me is that they didn't wait and pretty much brought the soup, appetizer and main course within less than 1 minute. I found this to not be enjoyable as I didn't want to mix everything and therefore the other courses were getting cold. Regarding the Kun Pao Chicken, I didn't care for it. The gravy had no real taste to it and even tough I'm not a fan of spicy food, this dish had zero peppers in it and therefore really made it pretty blend. I admit that I always pick the peppers off to the side but at least they release some of the spiciness into the dish an add extra flavors. The place was empty when I went there with just one other couple and they left 10 minutes after I arrived, so I had the whole place by myself, yet the waitress/hostess only came to check on me ONCE towards the very end. I had to ask the cook for a refill on my drink. Overall I was not impressed and will not come back.
