Apsolutely terrible! When you call, they seem like they have no idea how to use their computer system. When you actually do make it there, 8 minutes late, cause you actually have a job (although they have a sign posted stating there is a 10 minute grace period) they make you reschedule your appointment. Will not ever go there, nor recommend to any of my clients.

I was able to get in very quickly, the same day as I called. Very quick experience and everyone was very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this facility.

Wow. The WORST. Another client of theirs showed up every session high as a kite and used in the bathroom, and the teacher/instructor was fully aware. And even went as far as to openly talk and try and joke about it. Everyone was just there to fulfill a requirement, no one was serious about getting/staying sober. Every aspect of my experience was negative. It was a business, they wanted to shuffle people in and out as fast as they could.

Excellent practitioners, however they've had major turnover (my therapist is now at another practice) in the three years I've been dealing with them and the administration is horrible.
I strongly encourage anyone, whether seeking help for yourself or court-mandated treatment, to steer clear of this company. They have several locations, but the overall administration is apparently spread across offices, making communication and organization impossible. For people dealing with mental health issues or court-mandated treatment, administrative support is as important as the treatment. Nobody needs the additional nightmare of coping with inept billing and scheduling.
They went from a billing service to billing in-house and back to a billing service in the last year (2015), but even before that there were major mistakes on my account. I was charged late-cancel fees for dates I didn't have appointments, and when I did receive statements (about every four months), they were not always complete. Subsequent statements would have charges for services from dates before the first statement. My insurance company assured me they had submitted explanations of benefits to the office, but things were marked "pending insurance" on my statements for months afterwards. (I asked several times where my insurance should be sending EOBs, and never received a clear answer. No wonder they were unable to apply them.) Checks were applied to the wrong account. Checks were applied to charges that had been paid by insurance. Checks mailed to the address on the statement were lost, and I was later told I should have sent them elsewhere. I had to send bank copies of my checks again and again to prove they'd been cashed or deposited. I was once "accidentally" sent to collections for charges I hadn't been billed for (instead of calling me to let me know, they sent a letter two weeks later). After six months without a word from them, I recently called and asked for a statement, knowing I had outstanding charges. They sent a $550 statement. I sent a check to the address on the statement. They called a month later about payment. The check had been applied to the wrong account by someone "in another office."
Communication is nonexistent. The turnover made it impossible to contact the same individual twice. Blame was shifted to the billing services, to the phone system, to previous employees, to other offices, to the desk staff. When they left me messages, they wouldn't leave a name or a direct line; I had to wade through the front desk staff to figure out where they needed to transfer me.
PLEASE stay away from this company. It needs to collapse completely and be reorganized before these practitioners can expect to help anyone. They're currently hiring practitioners, and I would strongly advise professionals from staying away as well. You can't help people who are suffering without a solid company behind you.

I'm really enjoying Cheri Shoecraft and her program. She is caring and I look forward to her sessions at ABHC.
