Atwater Brewery in GR

Good beer. I had a few different drinks and all of them had full flavor. They have a great rotation of beers every season. The environment is very nice and open. Big windows that face the street bring a lot of light. The menu has some really good food I tried the nachos and hands down some of the best nachos I've ever had. It's a good place to start or end your knight in Grand Rapids because it is on the outskirts of the city life. I'll definitely have to go back and try some other beers had different time. I rated a 4-star because all the food took more than 20 minutes and it was a slow day.

Who ever said the nachos were good I have one question: who hurt you? It’s like a poor, drunk college kid found what they could in their kitchen and put it together last minute. It’s has KETTLE POTATO CHIPS instead of tortilla chips topped with UNMELTED, right from the bag shredded cheese, 2 small slices of tomatoes, and a drop of beer cheese. Who enjoys this? Who approved this as a menu item? Reevaluate your life. Nasty!

The beer is amazing and the food is great too! Love the employees and environment! No parking lot, but nearby cheap city lot or street parking (free on weekends and after 6pm). Easy to find as its next to the DeVos Place.

The beer was very good. I didn't order any food so I can't comment on the menu or service in that regard, but the server was polite and attentive with our whole group.

Made reservations for a group for 10 a few days in advance. Fine, no problem. We get there and after waiting at least 10 minutes they tell us that it's going to be over an hour wait. WHATS THE POINT OF RESERVATIONS?? Staff offered no apologies, nothing. We left and had a much better experience elsewhere.
