My husband and I were recently married here and we have nothing but great things to say about the entire experience. To start the venue is gorgeous!! We had our ceremony under the oak trees during golden hour with Spanish moss hanging all around us. The wrap around porch and lighted patio allowed guests to enjoy the crisp October air, while others danced to the live band inside. The event coordinator, Vivian, was experienced, kind, and professional. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The night of coordinator, Mandy, was there to make sure that myself, my husband, and our parents had fresh drinks and plenty to eat throughout the night. If you're looking for an intimate, fun, stress-free wedding then Audubon Clubhouse is the venue that you've been looking for! Guest count - 75
Great lunch on Sunday! Unique but tasty potato salad. Shrimp were fantastic! Waiter was great! Worth a stop by!
Pretty nice place for a quick bite before or after a round or two of golf. I mean get an Arnold Palmer here and tickle your own fancy!!!! Makes sense right??? Arnold Palmer... Golf.. You get it? Lol. The outdoor feel was amazing and sitting under the trees as they swayed in the breeze was intoxicating, I didn't wanna leave. Friendly staff are accommodating and eager to assist. The cafe is open to the public; but I do suggest making reservations because while the area is spacious, I can see how it fills up quickly. Just next door to the dining area is a golf store or sorts just for your shopping pleasure.
I found this restaurant on Open Table. It was a very nice place. It felt like home with the music and wrap-around-porch. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet was divine! There were eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, grits, waffles, fried chicken, BBQ chicken, wine braised short ribs, collard greens, Mac n cheese, gumbo, potato salad, coleslaw, cookies, cheesecake, danish, and muffins!!! Whew! We ate very well and will tell others of our experience. Thank you!
The best thing I can say is the wrap around porch and view were outstanding. The food was mediocre, and the service was truly terrible. Our table had a pitcher of water spilled on us, the food brought out wrong, no refills , and the bill charged incorrectly twice. They offered to comp appetizers as a result of the spillage and didn’t. I was truly appalled by the wait staff giggling when they spilled the water to the way the manager supposedly dealt with our table. Save your money there are too many other venues to try.
What an Amazing experience for Lunch or that Special Occasion! It has a wonderful menu! If you haven't tried it lately give it a chance ! Sandra,CJ,Eric and Maureen and everyone one else there will make sure your experience is beautiful! Brian is the manager there. The view is the best in the city!I recommend the Spinach Salad with Chicken
Old and needs updating very bad. I used to really enjoy and take pride in dining here prior to the pandemic. Menu is uneventful truly a disappointment and embarrassing because I raved about it and and brought my out of town guest and was a bummer for sure. I would say pls upgrade or shut down until you can. Thumbs down. ;-
We were married on Nov. 12, 2016 with a small wedding of about 85 people in attendance. From beginning to end, the Audubon Clubhouse Cafe was a joy to work with. Don Byerly, director of the facility, and Jordan Hahn, events manager, were polite, transparent, accommodating, and professional throughout the entire planning process and cognizant of our limited budget. Ms. Hahn picked up the responsibilities of sorting out pricing and details as the event drew closer, and made planning our wedding from out-of-state so much easier by replying promptly to my questions by phone or email, sending cost breakdown sheets, and always being willing to meet with us when we were in the area. She thought of everything from a rain plan for our outdoor reception to providing a timeline for the day of and basically acted as a built-in wedding planner for us. It was much-needed and very much appreciated! The venue itself is just stunning; surrounded by so much natural beauty and 100-year-old oak trees. Since many of our guests were coming in from out of town, having a place where we could have both the ceremony and the reception was important to us to cut down on the need for transportation. If you want to get the true flavor of New Orleans; this is the place to do it - from the setting to the incredible local food options they provided for us. My husband is gluten free and they were more than willing to accommodate any dietary restriction. Anything we asked for was considered thoughtfully and carefully. Though this venue was a little more expensive than others in our price range, the all-inclusive nature of it made it 100% worth it - food, tables, flatware, linens, setup, breakdown, bar, etc were all included in the cost. For the things that weren't included, such as the wedding and groom's cake and the chairs for the outdoor ceremony, Ms. Hahn made sure to get them ordered for us and orchestrated their delivery and breakdown. The day of, she made sure we got a chance to eat the amazing food by providing a selection of the hors d'oeuvres and salad we had chosen as well as complimentary champagne for us in the bridal suite during our private moment before our first dance. During a tense family moment when there was an issue with a corsage, she magically conjured up another one, nipping the drama in the bud. The entire staff the night of the wedding, from the bartenders to the servers, were wonderfully kind and polite and all our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and even Mr. Byerly, who first introduced us to the facility, made an appearance to make sure all was going well. The fairy lights they recently installed this year on the outdoor patio added the right bit of magic to our outdoor ceremony. For an intimate, meaningful wedding, we couldn't have imagined a more perfect spot.
I've never had duck wings before, pretty damn good. This place is very relaxing, and has a key West feel. If I lived in New Orleans I would come here every two weeks for lunch and golf.
The cafe at Audubon park is a dream. The food is extraordinary and our server CJ is incredible ! So friendly and on point. I could go here every week !!
