Aunt Butchie's Desserts

Came in today to get something to satisfy my sweet tooth. I purchased a plain cheesecake, brownie cheesecake, regular cookies and one chunky chocolate chip cookie. All pastries were fresh and tasty. The cheesecake was delicious and the portion size was perfect/just enough; sweet but not overly sweet. Cookies were soft and buttery. My favorite was the chunky cookie. It was amazing: chocolatey and soft and tasted freshly baked. The counter person was polite and friendly. I would recommend this shop over other ones I went to in Bay Ridge because the cakes and cookies have authentic taste and are not crazy sweet. PS. if you are getting the cake slices, leave it out for 10-15 min on your home counter to thaw a little bit. I asked the counter person and he said it’s best practice because the cakes are slightly frozen to preserve freshness. All in all, great bakery where everyone will find something for their sweet craving.

I have to say I’m shocked at the portion size and frozen rock solid cheesecake and peanut butter cake ! I ordered from Uber eats and totally disappointed in what I received! I mean where is it ???! And when should I eat it in 24 hours when it’s not frozen hahah crazy ! Definitely not what I remember on 13th Ave !

my cousin bought me little things of each, they all taste amazing, the cookies, brownie, and cookie nutella cup. Brownie is fudgey from the inside and crispy on the outside. Worth every penny and travel

I've gotten cakes from Aunt Butchies over the years and this is the first time i had an issue with them. You can clearly see that there is a paper that was frozen in the cake during the preparation process. I ordered the variety cake and the other pieces looked fine. I hope to get in contact with the bakery regarding the issue.

Staff were quick and courteous! Cookies were delicious! Chocolate and macadamian are my personal favorites!

I worked with John Fertitta via email to design a sheet cake for my daughter’s baptism in June. John was SUCH a pleasure to work with and was really helpful and responsive. He arranged for the cake to be taken from the Brooklyn location to the NJ location for pick up. We ordered the devils food cake with whipped cream frosting and cream cheese filling. The cake was so beautiful and delicious. We received a ton of compliments!!

Love coming in here whenever I need to pick up a dessert for a dinner/birthday party Aunt Butchie’s is the place! The customer service here is amazing I never have to wait, the girl in the front Janine is always helpful and quick.

Came here yesterday for the first time — quite pleased. Pleasant and polite staff. And the two confetti cookies that I tried were absolutely delicious! Would recommend anyone to try them out!
